65ltr Garden Cart, $10 @ Supercheap Auto on eBay

771

67ltr garden cart is $89@Bunnings
I've tried click and collect, many stores have stock, but soon as I proceed to pay,it says item NA,and that store will show no stock, after trying 7 or 8 pick up locations,I decided to pay for postage, and it worked,so bought one for $10 plus $15.5 shipping.

  • Bargain. Really tempted to buy one but we have a wheelbarrow and big plastic trailer for the ride-on mower already so I probably don't need this…

    • +2

Hmm tempted but as usual, no need for this.

What would one use this for, transporting body parts without the blood dripping all over the ground and attracting animals and insects to the lab freezer/shed/basement, etc.?

  • Thanks op!

  • Will let me do click and collect for:
    Belmont
    Morley
    Midland
    Armadale
    Mirrabooka
    Osborne Park
    Balcatta

    • +1

It lets you do that but when you go to confirm/pay it fails.

      • +1

I get "Error codes: 70049 70084" when confirming to pay

EDIT: Ended up buying one and paying for postage. Good price regardless

  • Anyone figure out a way to click and collect?

    • I'm afraid at this price ,it will either sold out or they will take it off before anyone figure out a way to click and collect
still cheap, and it gets send to your doorstep

      • yep true, thanks OP pulled the trigger! 22.50 with shipping.

        • did you not apply PAYBACK?%10 off.
code wasn't active when I bought it,starts 10am estern time today.

        • @028:

I was just having a laugh commenting the same as comment above ;)

Although 'PAYBACK' wouldn't have worked unless you bought 5
The offer entitles you to 10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $50 or more in one transaction during the Offer Period, for up to two transactions and up to a maximum discount of $100 per transaction.

  • Needed one forever, thanks OP! Got one for delivery. Hope it doesn't get cancelled!

  • would bunnings beat this by 10%?

    • Do Bunnings stock SCA branded products?

      • Na

        • Then there is nothing for them to price match.

        • But we can try, it close enough

    • ebay has a %10 off code today,PAYBACK.
you can always ask Bunnings😬,but you risk missing out cause it may sold out or they take it off anytime,at this price, you can't build one for $10

      • +1

        10% min purchase is $50

  • And another purchase I will never actually use

  • +1

$37.50 postage to me - bummer no deal. :-/

    • did you buy 3?
      12.5 times 3 is $37.5

      • Gimme a lil credit -that was the quote for a single one. Regional Oz bias. :-/

        • +1

          Regional Oz legitimate expenses?

  • Thanks OP, been looking for one for a while. Hopefully the deal get's honoured!

  • Wow, bargain!

  • Cool. I'm sure I'll eventually find a use for this.

    • In the space of me completing my order and then clicking back to purchase history there were 4 more orders. 50 sold in 15 minutes. God damn you lot love a bargain

      • props to ppl squeeze time to reply here.

    sold out?
that just shows how many ozbargainer read/buy and don't reply

  • -3

Postage was per shipment, so I got 151 (all they had left).
They’d better honour the deal or I’ll be straight onto my lawyer!!!1

    • you bought 151? I hope they do cancel your order! I missed out, as my internet was slow (shitty ADSL1) and by the time I clicked "confirm and pay" for 1, they had run out of stock.

      • …i think he was joking….at least i HOPE he was joking :P

        • its always difficult to punctuate Sarcasm… especially when there is a chance that it may actually be true..

      • +2

They only sold 51 and the most sold in one transaction was 2.

        • +2

well ,he got 2 numbers right,5 and 1

You are going to cost me offsite storage soon!!!

  • "Please enter a quantity of 0 or less." from Ebay

    • +2

I tried -1 and it changes to: "Please enter quantity of 1 or more"

      eBay messing with us!

  • I was too slow, this looked ideal to take to the beach.
I am usually carrying towels, esky, body boards, sun shade and sometimes a kid when they stop walking.
As a true oz bargainer, I refuse to pay for beach parking and that usually means walking.

The big wheels looked like they would be great for the sand.

Something I should check out in person, as if the handle isn't removable may not fit in the boot.

    • +1

I think you got saved a dud. This has shallow walls - you'd need to strap things down else they'd be falling everywhere - fine for garden but a pita for long hauls.

    • I got a $15 foldable trolley from bunnings a while back on special and they really are handy. I was able to pull two foldable moon chairs and a 22l waeco icebox no worries. A jocky strap or two might come in handy.

    • I grabbed the Kmart beach trolley when they were much hyped. Was helpful over Xmas lugging shit from car to bbq parks etc. did see cheap as chips (SA) with a beach trolley of similar quality otherwise BCF has them on special from time to time.

      • Thanks

  • I went down to SCA, and found the price is marked as $50.

I think this deal is similar to the one I posted ages ago, i.e. the staff stuffed up the listing.

  • I've owned one of these (from bunnings). Just buy a regular wheelbarrow, it is much easier to use and carries a lot more. More capacity = less trips. Dragging one of these full of rocks is quite difficult, it isn't really an ATV.

  • out of stock everywhere including online Please enter a quantity of 0 or less

I might try and get a price match from bunnings.

  • To those who bought one, anyone receive any update on the order? I haven't received anything yet but assuming Monday they'll provide an update.

    • not yet.

    • +1

  • Just received an email that they have no stock for delivery and refunding the transaction.

    • Yep same, incoming 50+ negative reviews.
