Prob better of with the the 3UK SIM. A lot cheaper.

    • The 3UK SIM doesn't include credit to call outside Europe.

  • Where does it say unlimited 4G data? Can't seem to see it anywhere

    • youtube video - "LTE" in status bar and then speedtests near the end of the vid.

If that's true speed it's actually pretty cheap. I wonder how they are able secure this speed with Japan when almost every other sim card companies only has unlimited 3G speed (after exceeding 4G data cap)

        • I was exactly wondering this too. The 'Asia' part caught my attention but I didn't think Japan and it's heavily guarded ripoff telco system would be available..

so we can get unlimited 4g data for international roaming , but not for locally ? (except optus 1.5mbps joke)

    • Yes, and I think it has to do with the NBN.

  • It's only 31 countries in Europe
    "Surf Europe UNLIMITED
FREE coverage in 31 European countries with UNLIMITED data"

$56.11 is a rather expensive "free".

  • Does anyone know if there's one that also covers Vietnam? Tried but couldn't find one.

    • Vietnam requires your Id/passport. Although some airport sellers might not check this, there's a chance your service will be deactivated until verified.

      • Vietnam requires your Id/passport

How's that any differnt to Thailand,Cambodia or Philippines ? where they always scan my passport at the airport if I get a SIM.

        • I guess vietnam like to ensure they have the correct persons metadata & live caller id =)

Anyone used these guys ? How is the unlimited data ? Unlimited as in capped at a snails pace after the first 100MB or something ? and how do I activate it ??? What's their KYC ? What's their security like ? or will Gustav be cloning my passport next week ?

Haven't used them but did a bit of research.

According to them, the unlimited data is the following: "BNESIM and its partners don't limit the speed in any way, you will have access to the local network without limitation.
Speed can vary based on many factors, first of all, the country where you will use it, but in any case it will be always adequate to provide a smooth experience in browsing, watching videos, accessing socials, using calls and video calls."

However, there is an Amazon product page for this and reviews have stated it is very patchy and may only work in some countries listed.

Has anyone tried this in Hainan and mainland China?

  • I am curious to know the restriction of the unlimited 4G data in those Asian countries. As far as I know, even with local sim, not many of them really allow unlimited data. All of them will have a cap, after the limit it slow down to as snail (128k).

  • I wonder if this is REAL unlimited at full speed, or full speed till 3gb then capped to snail at like 128mbps.
