I've got this. I like it a lot more than my HP Spectre X360 but not as much as my XPS 13 from a few years back. The XPS 13 is lighter, feels more rugged and has a smaller footprint. I'll be switching back to the XPS 13 later this year.

    • Thanks carleast. I have been tossing up between this and the x360. Just missed the JB x360 deal yesterday (price error?). What do you see as the pros / cons of each? thanks.

    • Very interesting. I've been considering getting the 920 for a while and the price might see me jump…but I don't know. I do love my XPS 13 but it's edging 5 years old now.

Edit: does the 920 get very hot?

I think the Lenovo looks better, it runs cooler and has the fingerprint reader which is much more reliable than the face login thing. The worst thing of all when it comes to HP though is their customer service. I've never experienced such poor customer service from a company and will be go back to them.

The thing that I hate about the Lenovo is the battery life. I got the 4k screen and it gets 4 hours max. It's infuriating. I think the standard screen is much better though.

  • I must save I have the previous gen Lenovo 900 - best laptop i've ever had. The screws come out a little, but I brought a $2 small star screwdriver off ebay and it fixed the issue

  • Manufacturers Express Warranty (months) 1

What is express warranty? How many months of slow warranty do you get?

    • Not sure if serious but express just refers to the fact that it's not a statutory warranty. It's a typo and should be 12 months.

  • Had two of these (one replaced by Lenovo after many emails, poor tech support and much arm twosting).

Two issues. First is battery drain when shut down/turned off. 5-10% per day. The second is their warranty/aftersales. It took close to 4 months and well over 30 emails to diagnose the problem, try solutions, return and receive new machine, and eventually get a refund.

This could have been the best laptop I have ever had, but was a nightmare from day one. There is a design flaw with this machine.

I’m now an owner of an XPS and while the Yoga could be a better machine, the Dell has been without fault.

  • Does the 4k, 16gb RAM, 1 TB SSD seem like good value?
