FAQ

Where do I enter the coupon code?

  • No coupon required.

It's showing me higher AUD price than mentioned in the title

  • Choose USD as your currency from top left hand corner. Don't select AUD, always choose to pay in USD, it will work out cheaper even after your credit card conversion fees. Also read the below.

How do I ensure I get the cheapest AUD price possible

  • To avoid higher currency conversion rates and to get cheapest price from these Chinese websites, you should get a credit card that charges zero currency conversion fees. 28Degrees, Bankwest Zero, Coles Mastercard are generally popular. Irrespective of what credit card you use, always choose to pay in USD on these Chinese websites, (Go back to main page, Choose "USD" from top left hand corner). Additionally set your Paypal so it "bills you in the currency on Seller's Invoice". To set your PayPal account this way permanently, follow the steps shown in these snapshots [Highly recommended]

  • Is the app only in Chinese as in the pics in the link?

I downloaded the app as I was considering the phone.

        thanks Mike

      • Having difficulty connecting to the smart phone with that app. Keeps saying "The device is connected. Please wait a moment…" and stay that way. How long did it take for yours to connect?

        • Fixed it, been uninstalling and reinstalling it and turns out it was bluetooth pairing

        • @azngamer: I've also figured out that with the "Pointer Calibration Time" and it tells you to "please enter current tie to calibrate", it is not the actual current time but what is shown on the watch. It should spin for a while to the correct time. I hope this has helped for anyone getting their Lenovo Watch 9.

      • Hi Apocksy

I got he Imgur app but didn't see Lenovo Watch app there. Can you please guide me to download the app?

    • Sorry to be a wet blanket, but the Watch 9 seems quite likely to be a fake. It's just too good for the money. It doesn't appear on the Lenovo site, announcements and reviews are all on obscure sites, and a $30 watch with sapphire glass is either a game-changing technological breakthrough or a scam. Already discontinued at GearBest, which says "It won't be available anymore". See instructive video review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajSejhPIQnY

I stand to be corrected by the vendor if the product is genuine.

      • Hi shorewalker, pls rest assured this is the genuine Lenovo watch 9.

        • Fair enough.

I'm still none the wiser as to how a $44 watch can have "genuine sapphire glass" that the likes of Seiko - who've driven down prices on everything in the industry - can't afford to put in their $200 watches.

Also for those wondering, according to a Chinese website, the battery is a CR2032 replaceable but not rechargeable..

Also that the battery life of 9-12 months hasn't been tested yet but is only part of the spec sheet..

    Source: http://club.lenovo.cn/detail/4403301

    • Also that the battery life of 9-12 months

      probably just a wrong translation.

should read 9-12 days (at best…)

      • It's a standard analog watch with BT functionality.

Will it have swiss accuracy? No idea. But apparently it knows how to adjust itself and sync to your smartphone. Which would make it as accurate as a digital watch.. in theory.

        • -2

          A CR2032 has a typical capacity of 240 mAh.
Bluetooth Low Energy technology consumes 15 mA…

          Do the maths…

          @jv:

I dunno. But my Tile tracker which also uses a button battery has a battery life of 1 year. So maybe it's not as simple as you think?

        • +3

@jv: Ok… say it sends 200 times a day, for 30ms each time, is 90 milliampseconds per day. x 365 for a year is 9.13mAh a year. Probably I am out, or my math wrong, but I'd say within the realm.

        • @jv:

BLE isn't pinging all day every day lol

        • @H32017:

Depends how much you use the watch.

    • Hi Apocsky, the battery is CR2032 with life of 9-12 months.

      • Hey. I opened mine up as it died. It says CR2032H
Does the H mean anything special?

  • Ordered it. Thanks :)

        Done!

        • Missed out, but thanks anyway:-)

      Great find mate! :)

  • Should I do this or just buy a watch band so I can start wearing my Gear S2? That thing's band was not sturdy and came off a few times, plus the band broke.

The use of sapphire glass mirror material up to 9H hardness, second only to the diamond, the knife without traces, drops of water into a pearl; good transparency, time is clearly visible so that light and shade in the mirror tour.

How can we resist that sales pitch?

    • I like swimming in the shallows without having to pick up the table beforehand!

    • That's called google translate.

  • +2

what are WatchNerd/PJC's review on this?

    • +2

It looks rather good and sapphire glass is an impressive feature at these prices. Nothing on the Daniel Wellington website has that.

  • -6

    That's a funny looking laptop.

    • Your funny.

      • Yes, and i write all my own material.

        • You're
  • no TA code?

    • +3

Because I am not TA ;)

  • I purchased one a week ago from the last post and still says processing…

  • Review here is not very promising! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajSejhPIQnY

I'm going to give it a miss.

  • edit: nvm. i figured it out.
