Ive had the non brushless drills for over a year and they are good. Used the non brushless grinder and its way better than Ryobi's effort.

Do Bunnings price match receipts from other stores?
People have reported Bunnings doing it on the latest Ozito combo deal but that is a significant markdown. Probably would need more of the receipt to see the store.
They didn’t for me when I showed them a receipt my mate had purchased from another store, told me to go straight to Bunnings that had it, as each Bunnings can reduce price individually if they are running the stock out

Everytime I've tried it has worked with the exception of some Victa cordless gear. Try the next day with someone else and you'll likely have luck or try another store locally.

Me too. They dont have to, since its part of their t&cs. But if you get someone on a good day and arent a knob about it they have always come through for me.

Just checked Bayswater (VIC) BUNNINGS, shelf is empty where the kit was. Has the sale price of $499, reckons rrp was only 699 though. It appears that was for a brushed/brushless combo, code is JP18AB5-502B2. Potentially the wrong kit marked down at the original bunnings?
my gf works at Bunnings, she tried to track this down for me, and thinks the OP probably got a wrong kit marked down as the code on his receipt doesn't match the 5 piece kit at all.

Your link is to the kit i got. It had a clearence ticket as mentioned by lvlutt below taking it down to $899. It then had a line through $899 and a handwritten price of $500. The handwritten ticket also had F/L 6230293 if that helps. They had 3 with the handwritten tickets which all sold by the weekend. I saw another in store today with the $899 ticket.
I have the picture of the item with handwritten ticket if that helps. Just unsure how to post it.

I got some of these yesterday in Bendigo was still ticketed at $899 but comes up as delegated item in system I told the person in tools the going for $500 in stores that still have stock so he marked them down

Yep deleted item is the key here. I got a different AEG set a while ago that they initially refused to pricemetch wiht a different bunnings because the price difference was so big. but then I mentioned it was a "deleted item", and they checked their system again, and changed their tune pretty quick and gave me the deal. I guess they have a mandate to just get rid of them once they are deleted.
Went to see if I could get this price matched. Girl said no as its a clearance item specific to the store. I mentioned it was deleted item as commented above and she looked into it further. She checked the stock number and advised the one in stock has a different number to the one provided on the receipt. 😥

I had no luck in Canberra with this one today. It seems the Gungahlin store has 3 of them still left in stock with the F/L # 6230293, but when i got put through to a manager, they said at this time they wouldn't be reducing the price from $899. Oh well.
