  • Better with the Payback code this weekend for 10% off

  • +2

10% code is capped at $100 so anything worth more than $2K you are better off using 5% discount code.

  • Given such minor change between this and the 7 series, I'd probably save the cash and get last years model, it's exceptional.

    • I just missed the sales on C7 now everywhere is back to 4k plus. For few hundreds different I would probably go for a newer model?

      • -2

Yeah there cant be much stock left of the C7 after all the sales (as low as $3,300 I believe) in the past few months, and now the new model is here.

If someone has 6+ months price protection on their credit card, Id definitely go the C8 when it comes up in an eBay 20% off sale from Good Guys, Bing Lee, or VideoPro. Then come EOFY sales, or Xmas sales, can claim some $$ back.

Thats my plan anyway.. might advertise my Samsung 75" LCD on eBay tomorrow if they have a deal on no/low fees. Then buy the C8 at the next decent sale which should be around $4K. And I expect it to be close to $3K during a 20% off sale by end of the year as OLED is coming down in price.

Last weekend this was selling for $4,564 at Retravision so you could probably get a better deal if you hold off for a few weeks.

    • +3

True I actually called Retravision and they said they can honour the deal. But only problem is that this will be back order: estimated delivery in 4 weeks + $170 delivery to NSW.
Better hold off and see next promotion next week from eBay.

  • Guys price just reduced again.

    • Price just increase again. $4,999 before coupon.

  • This should have been priced at $4000 at launch. Wouldn't bother until it drops below $3000.

    • Below…. 3000 … A price you can't even buy the previous year model for? Nor did the previous year model dip to?

      • Last year's went close to $3000, and production has been ramping up rapidly over the last 6-12 months in the 65" category.

  • Just went to Binglee; lowest price $4700.
