    I don't mind steggles chickens, but they definitely bulk up the weight with brine. You can see the injection marks on the skin and taste it on the flesh.

      i get the Lilydale free range chickens when they drop to $5kg at coles they aren’t brined and are sort of free range.

        Lilydale chickens are so nice!
        We’re on a budget at the moment so I’ve been buying Steggles when it’s on sale but definitely prefer the lilydale.
