  • Local one had this on clearance for 69. They also had one with the batteries missing for 30 (I bought this one)

    • Our local had a clearance on the ortizo's as well - but they didn't come with the drill driver.

Don't be fooled. This blower isn't particularly useful. Not worth $99 for the kit. $69 is ok

I think it depends on individual needs - I have small lawn in my house, so I just need something to clean up once in a while after I do the occasional edging - and so for me - this has worked out just fine.

      • Yep same. Happy with mine. I got the Blower/Whipper Snipper combo earlier this year for $79. Both tools do the job.

That combo has a different blower. I have that combo AND the workshop blower in this combo.

The trimmer/blower combo is great for the garden.

The workshop blower is slightly better than a hairdryer. Not really suited to the outdoors even in a small garden.

  • Does it have hammer drill function?

    • +1

No it does not have hammer drill function.

  • anyon know is the battery same as Aldi battery?

    • +1

      No. Different connection.

Those blowers make excellent fire… improvers. Put a hole in the bottom of a metal bin, chucked my waste to be burnt in it, connected the blower to the hole via a sacrificial cardboard pipe and cranked that sucker. Instant furnace. Bin went green with heat, burnt literally a tonne of wood and cardboard in 30 mins in a controlled environment.

    • Sounds toasty.

    • Ever considered opening your own crematorium?

That's the small work bench blower, not garden blower.

Standard price. Had bought one 6 months ago. Returned it and got the kit with all of this and impact driver and bigger battery for same price

    • All of it for $99? Power x?

      • Yep. I got the same kit

  • +2

I don't see any bargain with this deal. Standard price as the guy above said.

Standard price for Ozito kit with one battery (no blower) is $99.

Small battery blowers are good for inflating camp mattresses, small boats, and clearing tent-sites of twigs etc.

Sure, this is not as good as some past $99 kits, but its not bad.
The ozito drill is fine for occasional home handyman use. Has torque setting, 2 gears, 13mm keyless chuck.

And its got a 5 year warranty from Bunnings!!! How can you lose?

      • How can you lose?

You lose every single time you pick it up and use it.

  • I went into Bunnings with the intention of buying this combo and DIDN'T. The blower is only suited for indoors really to clean saw dust, wood chippings etc..

The batteries are also on the weaker side i.e 1.5aH.

If you don't need the blower, I would get the Hammer drill kit (129$), which comes with a 3.0aH battery and has the Hammer drill function.
