    Mine is 6000 pts for $50 x 4 spend

    • +1

Same. Spend $200 for $30 worth of points - half as good an offer as I was getting😒

Was getting 3000pts on single $50 spend - each week for months. Lools like those offers end today😞 (Multiple accounts & choose best offer.)

Woolies send out different offers, depending on your past spending habits. They're training us to lock in all our grocery spending at Woolies. Coles do the same.

      • +1

like what i've just received? :)

        wk1: spend $30 - get 1000pts
        wk2: spend $40 - get 2000pts
        wk3: spend $50 - get 3000pts

        • That's it tonester. (I usually only use wk3, as offers have arrived weekly on different cards).

I'll wait for the next offers. Unusually - haven't received those good offers for 3 weeks. Spent my last $50 to receive 1/3 off (3000points & paid with discount eGift card).

Good to see those offers are still offered👍

  • :) these offers are the reason I've told my partner to stop using our Woolworth's rewards cards in-store for a while… I'm guessing you don't use this card much OP?

    • +1

Doubt that. The more you spend each week the more you need to spend for the points. People who spend little would have lower requirements.

      • My understanding is that it does go off your past shop…. but if they think you've stopped shopping there they will start to send these offers.

        • I shop all the time and regularly receive these offers as do others in my family. I have 6000 points for $50. I don’t usually spend $50 per week. People who spend more getgreater spend requirements. THey want you to spend more than you usually do. Maybe if you never shop you’d get lower requirements.

        • @wxyz234:

Pay in cash without using your rewards cards to get better deals.

        • @tightwad:
Or get the DJ's Amex and get 2.25 QP per $
          Even better!

    • +1

I only shop online with woolies since they offer a superior online service to Coles IMO and I use this card weekly.

Funnily enough, they are trying to get me to spend in store with this offer. I’m weighing up if it’s worth four weeks of checkout queues, messy isles, screaming kids, parking, the effort, etc… I’m thinking that’s it’s not.

      • Thanks because they're enticing you to visit so you'll spend even more in store.

  • +3

Coles is $60 x 4 getting $50 credit. Woollies’ requirement is too high and the reward isn’t great.

    • +1

I know right. Plus for flybuys you can combine it with their triple points or other promos of spending 40/60/70 dollar get 1000 points - meaning you get 1k points for that week AND it counts to your week. Just last week I got 4000 points (combining other promos) and it counted as a week from just spending 70 dollars.

    • Yeah I've had 4 x $50 for 10k FBs plenty of times
Now they're offering $70 for 2k PB in a single shop. Bloody hard since I dont buy meat from them.

    • +3

Title isn’t wrong, the offer is just different to yours. They are targeted based on YOUR spend

        • It might be the same promotion, but the spend is different depending on your individual historical spend. If you want to create a post that is specific to your $90 spend offer to make it “right”, go for it.

        • -3

          @mrmaltalian:

It might be the same promotion, but the spend is different

          So it’s the same deal

Reposting this deal for different amounts will make them dupes and they’ll be removed

        • @jv:
Only when you bitch and moan about them.

      • -1

They are targeted based on YOUR spend

And if you take up this offer you have spent more money than usual meaning you lost money to Woolworths.

I hope imaginary money is what you really wanted!

  • +1

So spend 520, get $55 worth of points?

  • +1

I just spent $110 for the last 4 weeks to get 11,000 points. I reckon the next time it’ll be spend $150 for 4 weeks to get 8,000 points.

    • Shouldn’t have opened my big mouth. Just got an email for 15,000 points on $175 spend over 4 weeks,

      • $175/week a week is insane. I spent that amount every 3 weeks on average.

        • It'd take me ~6wk at Woolies.

Although it'd be easy to cheat, buy an expensive item & take it back. But I use eWish cards, and they usually offer me either cash or credit card refund at my local on any returns.

  • I got 8k points when spending $90 per week for 4 weeks.

    • I got that one 4 weeks ago and got the one above earlier today.

I probably did myself a disservice when I overspent this week. Normally I spend about $70/wk at Woolies but will grab an extra $20 of stuff I need but is on sale to hit that $90 quota when I do have one of these promos. This week I spent $120 due to having to buy other stuff I don't normally get.

I think I'm going to have to reduce my spend to $50/wk or swap to Coles/Aldi for the next few weeks… they look like they lob another $10-20 on top of your average weekly spend for these promos.

  • 2 Cards
    Card 1 - 10,000 points, spend $110 in a single shop over 4 weeks
Card 2 - 6000 points, spend $70 in multiple shops over 4 weeks

I'm half way through a 4 week Coles 10,000 point offer, so will pass on the woolies deal

  • I assume opal recharge is excluded?

    • +1

      Yeah.

Qualifying amount excludes purchases at Woolworths online, withdrawal of cash, delivery charges and Delivery Saver items, internet cafes, purchases of smoking/tobacco products and accessories, liquor, Gift Cards (including iTunes), mobile recharge, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards and tickets, woolworthsflowers.com.au, Carpet Care, Donations, lottery products, Pre-order Kiosks and Auto-order products.

  • Do you find these targeted offers in your inbox? I never get them!

    • Login to Woolworths Rewards and make sure that your communications options allow them to send you these offers via email.

Under "Woolworths Rewards & Partners", "Exclusive offers and promotions" needs to be ticked as well.

  • Hmm, i havent got this email yet… i usually get woolworths offers but havent got this one yet,
    Ah well, next time

  • Damn spend $520 and only get $55 and you have to shop there 4 weeks in a row is a pretty crappy deal.

Most people won't spend $130 exactly so they will probably end up spending over $600.

    • +1

The idea is to increase the amount of money you lose to Woolworths compared to how much you usually lose by using offering imaginary currency that you can only use in limited ways that someone else decides.

  • Back in the day, some things were cheaper at Woolies if you scanned a rewards card than if you didn't. Is that still the case? I'm planning on not using one for a while.

  • My offer is 13,000 points for $155. Amazing! $65 for $155.

    • Is that suppose to be $65 for 4x $155?

  • +2

A suggestion of how to work out what is possible,if you google Woolworths and Coles after 5 pm on Mondays you will be able to have a view at the new catalouge that begins on the following Wednesday to Tuesday and you can work out your shopping list for the week, also remember that 10,000 points is only $50 most offers are between %5 to %10 off, $1,000 points is just $5,when you match up both catalogues you will see most items on special at Woolies this week are on special at Coles the following week so spending at Woolies each week for 4 weeks is not the cheapest way to buy, they want you in their store every day every week,

  • No deals for me like this.
