410

From Xiaomi's sub-brand 90FUN who make all of Xiaomi's wallets, bags and luggage comes this cheap Waterproof Drawstring Bag. It measures 37.5 x 42cm and is made from 600D Polyster and 210D Oxford fabric which makes it durable and waterproof. 90FUN's wallets were very popular over the weekend!

Update: Filter cheaper at eBay thanks to foojm.

Next on sale is the Xiaomi Enhanced Filter for the popular Xiaomi Air Purifier. This filter is more effective than the filter included with the Xiaomi Air Purifier as it has an additional activated carbon filter inside. Currently the best price available as other stores do not offer free shipping!

  • Still a bit dear for the enhanced filter, methinks.

That drawstring bag though, why Xiaomi…

AU rate isn't quite as good as last time. I think these filters are being discontinued now with the newer filters though.

I'd be all over the bag if I was still at Uni. So perfect!

      • Do you know anything about the new filter?

        • +1

Newer ones are using this type of filter. I suspect the new wall mounted ones will use the same too.

A real shame as I was hoping to pick up one of the original purple antibacteria filters.

        • @Clear: Thanks. I hope there'll be a price drop on the original filters soon.

      • +2

Hey Clear, I'm trying to decide between Joybuy and this Ebay listing which is cheaper. What do you think?

        • +1

I should have searched harder. The eBay listing is good.

        • The ebay listing increased their price not long after you posted this lol

        • @videoman:
Congrats to the folks who managed to snag some at the old price. :)

Having problems checking out - can't even make an account :v

    • Try the desktop site if you're on mobile as it can be quite buggy.

      • +1

I was actually having problems with the desktop website, even when using an incognito session. I resolved it by downloading the app and setting up an account through it's user settings.

They charged me $0.04 shipping! No Deal!

But seriously, Thanks Clear, bought a bag. I hope it folds down to a small size so I can keep it in my other bag as a backup.

If anyone gets an address error, click on edit address and change mobile number to 9 numbers (remove the first 0)

    • +1

Woopsie missed that. They should have included the shipping in the final price like everyone else (except Zapals 😭). I'm seriously tempted to buy one but have a good collection from other China brands already.

Very important to note what is listed as basic information under specifications about the bag…

    Gender: Normal hair

    • Need to update the acronym: LGBTQ-NH

Are those air purifiers a joke? I thought it was beneficial to your immune system to be exposed to every day particles. I can imagine a Seinfeld episode written around one, George refuses to leave the clean air of Jerrys apartment, then we he does he catches the flu

    • Not at all. It's not going to leave your room 100% pure, but it does do a very good job of sucking up dust. The amount my filter had after just one month of use.

      • 100% pure, pure carbon dioxide. its heathy to have clean air but unhealthy to have lack of air at the same time. open a window…

        • I bought the purifier to get the dust out of my room.

I get dust in my room from when I open the window to let fresh air in.

        • @kale chips suck:
zackly … only people with pollen allergies etc need then. everyone else are morons

        • @kale chips suck: Does it do a good job? Cause I get killa hayfever, once I get it you can pretty much write that day off.

        • @OneMoreTune: I feel it does, yes - but I don't really have much in the way of comparisons.

I guess the best thing I can say is that the dust that used to drive me crazy… I don't notice anymore.

The filters are HEPA type (with others) so they should trap pollen I'd think

        • @ego22: I can't tell if you missed it or not so, in the interests of clarity - I do not agree with you and your CO2 comment is baseless idiocy.

          Have a nice day.

        • @kale chips suck:
baseless. close all windows and completely seal off a room. put an air purifier and breathe in your own Co2 over and over again. whats not to understand? u think an air purifier makes oxygen? lol. its common sense. im amazed u think it needs research done to give it a base lol. dust mostly comes from your skin, clothes, carpet, etc. its in your house. either clean your house or open the windows. u dont need an air purifier lol. all basic stuff really..

          my day was excellent.

      That's gold, cortex, gold!

    • It hasn't been studied well from what I read.

The few articles I found range from potential slight benefit to even being a slight health hazard by relying on the purifier instead of having proper ventilation.

some people swear by them though.

    Bought 3 bags. Thanks OP

    Slightly cheaper here (AUD$47.45):

And use the 10% off ebay coupon to get 2 for $85.41 ($42.71 each)

    • Sweet thanks for sharing 😊

what makes this bag any different from the hundreds of promotional drawstring bags that look exactly the same at events?

    • +2

      Well, going by the ad…

      Waterproof & convenient, Tear resistant.
      Duplex side printing.
      Anti-scratch, Durable, Tear resistant.
      Lightweight and easy to wash.
      Comfortable to carry.
      Exquisitely enclosure.
      Capacity 5L. Weight 0.1kg
A small bag as gift. Keep small objects independtly.

And most importantly, It is Xiaomi.

    • $6.70 of those Xiaomi feels.

  • Just need a deal on the air purifier machines.

    • +1

Same, have an alert set up for when one is posted.

Just checked Kogan, they're selling the second gen version for $169 plus postage. That's good enough for me.

      • All those versions got me confused. How's that compare with Air Purifier 2s? Apart from being cheaper, obviously.

        • Not that I've researched every difference, the 2s has a display on the front if that's important.

  • +2

I don't read anything after Xiomi.. Just buy whatever has been posted

  • The main question is, where do we get that shirt from?

  • +1

"waterproof" as I understand it means "impervious to water". Does anybody know if that claim stands up with these - i.e. would they suit as a dry-bag (protect stuff from heavy rain etc) or a wet-bag (dumping wet stuff in after a surf/swim, without water wicking through)? Cheers in advance!

    • +3

I don't think the hole at the top is waterproof. Hope this helps!

      • +1

It'll hold 5 litres of water from the hole on top :)

        • Very good, but is it evaporative proof?

    • +1

      "level 4 waterproof" - I assume they mean IPX4 –

Splashing of water Water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect, utilizing either: a) an oscillating fixture, or b) A spray nozzle with no shield.

Test a) is conducted for 10 minutes. Test b) is conducted (without shield) for 5 minutes minimum.

  • Bought the bag, thanks OP for posting this deal.

  • Seems to force me to buy in AUD, so comes out to $6.91 (for the bag)

Anyone else having troubles setting up their account? I never end up receiving the confirmation email.

    • Same, tried last night and again today, no joy from joybuy

    • Having issues too, one poster above mentioned using their mobile app to create an account.

But the freaking app wants access to everything in my phone, so I said no.

      • You can deny those permissions after its installed.

  • Anyone tried the "electrostatic cotton" covers for extending the life of the old filters? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3pcs-electrostatic-cotton-fo…?
