Good luck finding anything in SA.

  • can I use it as iMac boost drive or Windows boost drive?

    • there is nothing special about the drive, cosmetically it matches the xbox screen, green, and goes to sleep properly on powered usb …..some usb drives don’t go i to sleep more if usb has power …..more an issue with spindle than ssd.
it’s an ntfs partition so for a mac will need to repartition, no big deal.

Just be mindful that it's dummy boxes…might be 5 on the shelf, doesn't mean there are 5 actual units left.
Werribee only has 1 left at the time of the picture. Officeworks normally marks it on their clearance ticket how many are left at the time of issuing that clearance ticket.

    • Yes i see that there's a number 1 on its own just under the bar code printed on the clearance ticket which does indicate 1 unit was left in stock on 27/04/2018.

This stock would have long since sold out weeks ago. The OP nor any one has any chance of buying this from the Werribee store.

  • Can I use it on PS4?

    • Only if it's green.

It's just a regular drive so yes.

  • can i use it on pc?

At my store these sold out within two hours of it going on clearance.

Please call beforehand and get them to put it aside for you, stock for these late stage clearance items isn't particularly reliable, especially because we can't get any more stock in.

Peoples. The price ticket shows only 1 unit was left in stock at 27/04/2018 when the clearance ticket was printed. So you've got zero chance of buying one of these now since it would have sold out 2 weeks ago. Those 5 boxes on the shelf are just empty dummy boxes which unfortunately pretty much fooled the OP. You can tell it's dummy boxes when it has printed on it "FOR DISPLAY ONLY". The store staff only forgot to remove the empty display boxes from the shelf.

    • Did OP actually buy one?

      • No I didn’t but it’s probably gone now. Interesting to learn about how the tickets show how many they have in stock. I’m sorry if anyone didn’t get one, I’ve been in the same situation before where the tickets are up but no stock in store. Officeworks are too busy looking for shoplifters than fixing up their stores.

  • What’s the different between these and the 2tb ones?

The Harvey normal has the 2tb ons for $149 also?

Assume these are not ssd ones though?

  • and cheaper to just buy a 3tb HD and a caddy.

    • so you're comparing a solid state drive to a mechanical one?

  • Thanks op found one (lucky last) at my local OF. Can confirm I purchased @$150

    Cheers
