This seems like an awesome deal when combining with the AMAZON20 code! Just tested it out and could get 4x 4k Movies for $34 delivered! Their pricing is generally in line with JB from what I can tell.

For Example:

6 Nolan Movies (Batman Begins,The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Interstellar, The Prestige) in 4K HD comes out as:

Items: $119.88
Delivery: $5.99
Order Total: $125.87
Promotion(s) Applied: -$85.93
Order Total: $39.94

This usually retails for a lot more.

Heaps of movies and TV shows to choose from, have a good look around.

As always, enjoy!

  • Great deal thanks, especially recommend Interstellar and Blade Runner 2049 if you haven't seen them. Need UHD to do them justice.

  • Yeah, i just bought all Transformers 4k movies for $28. I can take those off the list what i will buy at JB next week.

    • +2

The last few Transformers movies were not so good.

      • +24

        Oh, just the last few?

        • +1

          I was being nice :)
          Didn’t want to upset anyone!

    • Pacific rim movies are better if you like giant robot cgi thing. Transformers cgi gives me headache.

      • Last Pacific Rim didn’t have any character development.
I guess that is true for Transformer as well

  • Minimum spend 79,less 20,is 59, how do you gwt 34

    • It takes the discount at the checkout off all movies + the promo code, so it was like this:

      Items: $89.93
      Delivery: $5.99
      Order Total: $95.92
      Promotion(s) Applied: -$65.95
      Order Total: $29.97

That was another example with 4 random 4k's.

Thanks very much OP. Awesome deal for 4k films.
probably great options for normal blu-ray also for those that don't have 4k disc player yet (or an xbox one s etc).
Picked up Independence day, Xmen Days of future past, Inception, Batman Begins, for like $24 delivered :) . Those 4 titles came up to the maximum discount/value . ie. They added to $79.. and the BOGOF were in matching pairs .
I ordered 12 all up. 3 seperate orders (and new accounts) .
Dont need to buy any more 4k discs for a while. Will bring my total up to around 20.
Mods should front page this ASAP.
Im shocked it still only has 26 upvotes, but it cannot be seen by majority of users, so I guess thats why not more views/upvotes.
Glad I clicked on to check new deals section. Will probably sell out of many titles once it goes to front page (or once its advertised on other sites I guess).
Edit: front paged now. Grab what you can quick, before they sell out :)

    • so you made 3 accounts x 3 new account offers ? Pretty sure they are going to clamp down on this, especially if they all have same details.

      • +1

No. I ordered all different movies. I chose the 12 x 4k films which I most like out of the ones available.

      • +1

Amazon will allow this. The idea is to kill off ebay and jbhifi. One person can have hundreds accounts for all they care. The more purchase from amazon the better.

        • Great idea. Let’s kill off all the competition so amazon have a monopoly. How many good deals do they have? Most of their prices aren’t great.

  • +2

I got Interstellar and all three Nolan Batman movies for $19.96, 2 cents cheaper than buying one of the movies alone. This has to be some kind of error or oversight, right?

    • Buy 1.5 get 1.5 free perhaps is how it worked out ? Lol .
I would never risk it buying an odd number on buy 1 get one free . But perhaps it still adjusted for you somehow. Great deal you got there anyway :)

      • The cart shows:

        Movie 1 = $20
        Movie 2 = $20
        Movie 3 = $20
        Movie 4 = $20

So you have an $80 cart. Making you eligible for $20 off promotion. But when you checkout 2 of those titles become free and then they apply the $20 discount so you're left paying for only 1 title.

Must be a glitch. We shouldnt be entitled to both promotions without final spend being $79 or more.

  • +2

    I got

    Inception BD 4K UHD
    Interstellar BD 4K UHD
    Bram Stoker's Dracula 4k uhd
Independence Day 4K (UHD) (3 DISC)

    for $27.96, quite a deal.

  • A lot of the titles had a picture of the 4k artwork yet dont have a 4k option under format… and instead have Bluray or DVD. So not sure ehat format they would send.

Some titles had 4k and/or UHD in the title description. So its safe to say they are 4k titles or atleast be able to argue they should be.

But others (John Wick 2 for example) make no mention of being 4k despite the picture suggesting they are 4k. I decided to play it safe and only purchase 4 titles that had 4k under format. Not worth the hassle if I ended up with Bluray copies instead.

    • +2

I just clicked on "filter" and there is an option in search filters for "format" . I chose format as 4k , so search then removed all non-4k options :)

  • I think the box pictures are what you get.

If you search Ghost in the shell there is a blue Bluray box and a black 4k box with the Bluray being about $8 cheaper. It's still a risk so you make your own choice.

Although the format option for that one says Bluray and doesn't let you select anything. Probably better to play it safe.

  • +1

A lot of these films weren’t filmed in 4K formats right? So essentially they’ve just been upscaled.

    • http://realorfake4k.com is a pretty good database of digital mastering information of these 4K blu rays. In the case of the Nolan movies, much of it was shot on film and some parts IMAX film, with the VFX done in 4K. While I haven't seen any of them in person I think those movies in particular would benefit from 4K as many of them were originally intended for IMAX.

    • Yep, definitely check that before buying:

      http://realorfake4k.com/

  • Does this BOGOF deal include pre-order like the Matrix?

    • -1

I tried with Black Panther and Infinity War, and they did not seem to trigger the BOGOF deal.

  • +1

    Great deal!

Ordered four 4K movies for $31.98 delivered.

Now I will have to buy that Sony X700 I've been debating about buying so I can watch them LOL

  • +1

Pure awesomeness!! Ordered seven 4K + two Blu Ray Set for $91.32 in total, averaging $10.15 per movie. Truly Oz Bargained!!

    • Effing just realised that in all the excitement, I forgot to go via Cashrewards. Loss of $9 with 10% rate for Amazon :(

Some solace that still for a good overall deal…

  • Too bad the planet earth and blue planet 4Ks arent part of this deal. Just have to wait when jb do theirs i guess

    • Naah, I'll still wait for a similar Amazon offer when they get included in future. JB prices doesn't average this low per disc, ever.

      • I meant for the supposed JB sale that's to happen next week…. I don't know when Amazon might do theirs again with the code

  • For Example:

The Nolan Collection in 4K HD comes out as:

    Items: $119.88
    Delivery: $5.99
    Order Total: $125.87
    Promotion(s) Applied: -$85.93
    Order Total: $39.94

    This usually retails for $150!

I should mention that the Nolan Collection in 4K normally includes 7 movies:

    Dunkirk
    Batman Begins
    The Dark Knight
    The Dark Knight Rises
    Inception
    Interstellar
    The Prestige

The OP's example only works with the last 6 movies, since Dunkirk is not included in the buy 1 get 1 free sale. If you wanted all 7 movies (add Dunkirk for $26.38), the total price comes to $66.32. That is still an amazing price considering the lowest I could find previously was $120.96 when JB Hifi had 20% off and a further 20% off using STACK coupon. Well done OP! I actually had a $50 credit from the price errors during Amazon AU's launch, so I ended up paying on $16.32 for these 7 movies #winning

    • Arghh my bad, I knew I had forgotten one! Will update, still an awesome deal though :)

      • All good doweyy! It's an awesome deal either way (6 movies or all 7 movies). Cheers!

  • I tried with some Ghibli blu-rays, but still came out at like $20 each!

Still a bit too much when I've already seen them, but much cheaper than usual if anyone wants them…

    • +1

I was looking for the exact same thing. They're always so overpriced!

  • Kind of screwed up for me - I got to checkout and entered AMAZON20 for the extra discount. Was all good so far, showing about $35 for four 4k movies. But then I changed my mind and went back, changed the movies etc and the extra 20 discount disappeared. When I tried to reapply it, it said it had already been applied. Logged out, logged back in again, this time it said the AMAZON20 had already been used.

Oh well, still got Inception and Interstellar for a bit over $25 delivered so not too bad.

BTW Blue Planet 2 4k is available at JB for $32 today, which is the same as Amazon but you can pick up free.

    • +5

It should still be there. When you go to pay, under payment method you should see a checkbox where you can tick "Use your $20 Promotional Balance."

  • +1

    Thanks OP!
    Grabbed the 7 Nolan films.
One heck of a deal considering cheapest I’ve seen was 90something for the boxset late last year.

  • +1

Thanks OP, couldn't resist the ones that were in 16:9 - Dark Knight, DK Rises and Interstellar even though I still don't have a 4k player! Don't forget Cashrewards for an additional 2.5% back.

    • Isn’t cash rewards 10%?

      • I think it depends on goods’ category.
        2.5% for movies.

  • Nvm was meant to reply to a comment

  • Yeah great deal………Picked up 4 movies a week or so ago for a darn good price with the $20 off

  • -5

Seriously though, physical media is so 1990s

  • Great deal, thanks.
Any suggestions on the cheapest 4K capable player?

    • Xbox one S

  • +1

This say DVD, but the picture and title says 4K?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/WAR-PLANET-APES-BLU-DISC/dp/B0771S…

    Which is it?

    • Yeah just be cautious some picture doesn't match with the actual item.

Oblivion also has UHD disc picture, but when you get to the product info it's only Blu Ray.

  • Amazon is pretty damn spot on with their pricing! All of the Blu-Rays that dropped in price today at Big W have all been reflected on Amazon!

  • Thought it worth bumping this deal on it's last day.

Good mix of movies,TV shows and music concerts.

    Been keeping me broke :)
