  • Do they still do the bucket when you buy that family meal? Have been meaning to get one.

      • +3

It would have been funnier if you put bucket in bold.

        • +1

          bold is an adjective

I got my bucket on Thursday, it's only while stocks last per store so call up and ask before you head in

    • +1

Um if your local store still has stock you should. Just ask about it, the deal lasts till Monday night.

  • +2

I asked about this yesterday and they said it was on menu for next week. So yippy! Plus with supercharged sauce for extra spice! And use feedback form to make it a meal

Knowing my local KFC’s I’ll probably get 15 nuggets instead of 24 or if I got the variety box half the items would be missing. It’s like
KFC hires anything with a heartbeat

    • +10

The quality of staff is dictated by the manager.

      Shit manager means shit staff.

    • +5

I think you'll find that the people working there are slowly dying inside

    • +4

Always double check your order before you leave. Quality of orders depend on your store. If you get home and anything is missing, call up and you'll get the whole thing replaced for free.

      • +7

I had to drive back to collect the difference. No compensation whatsoever, and when they didn't fill the chips up to the top, I was accused of eating a half box of chips and trying to get a refill.

        • +2

          Which store?

        • @Lockster: Flinders. Yokine, WA

        • +1

          @t25: lol rip

      • I know 1 store which constantly giving me grief with wrong items. They just can't get it right.

Once ordered 2 regular chips they only pack me 1 small chips. It is hard to check if you are doing drive through.
It really does depend on the store.

    • +3

Worst is when its in the drive through, you get beeped by the impatient idiot behind if you check the box for too long.
You go home and notice bits and pieces missing, you go back for them and end up looking like a cheap bastard asking for 2-3 more pieces of chicken that wasn't included, all the while 99.9% of their staff think you ate them….. Sigh

      • +7

What would you expect when an obese person returns to the counter claiming 1/2 a chicken piece box went missing?

      • +7

Locate your spine. Its just a horn, not gonna kill you. Get what you paid for.

    • KFC near my home has an incredibly rude staff. No Hi. No Thank You. Sometimes I feel like I’m forcing them to take my order. I have Given feedback a couple of times but no avail. Guess I’ll have to live with them until the HOTNSPICY deals end.

      • I drive the extra 15 minutes not having to deal with franchisees like that. Sure I am probably just costing myself more time/money but I don't feel I should support a company that doesn't respect my business.

      • +1

        Name and shame

    • Count them. Dont feel sheepish, you paid for it. Make them do their job.

My mate gets compensated everytime they phuckup, get drinks/shakes/chips etc.

      • is that a rule of theirs?

        • +1

          Yes
Our training is to apologise, fix the problem and provide extra food as compensation.

        • @Flyntos: thanks. what would happen if i was given an expired juice?

        • +1

@TarquinOliverNimrod: Take it back and explain it to the team member, they will replace it with a fresh one, and throw out the old ones.
We don't really check drink expiry dates, because it's all cans and bottles that last over a year, but lately i've noticed juices go out of date a lot sooner and we've started keeping an eye on it.

        • are you allowed to request fresh chips? or to resalt them when bland?

        • @TarquinOliverNimrod: Yes, but it's usually 3 mins wait.
And yes you can ask for more salt.

        • @Flyntos: cheers

        • @Flyntos:

Someone should tell this to the Point Cook store. Even if it is a pretty new store they don't give a crap about customers. Ordered within 2 months 4 times catering, all four orders missed a significant amount of food.

Has it been 3 days yet?

  • Hot deal for chilli nights.

  • Never seen hot and spicy nuggets. Yummy

  • Anyone know if kfc Queensland will get this?

    • +2

      Most likely.
The guy that owns all the Vic stores owns QLD stores too so I pray for you.

      • +2

There are about 30 different franchisees in Victoria, and I don't think CF owns any stores in this state.
CF is a company rather than an individual guy. Southern Restaurants are the largest group with an individual owner.

        • I can confirm that this information is correct.

Flyntos is misinformed about one guy owning all the Vic stores.

    • +1

They will be, was talking to a manager about it today.

  • +1

Is the coating of the nuggets the same as the chicken?

    • +1

      Brown? Yeah..

    • Not exactly the same, but i'd imagine it'd be similiar.
The chicken coating is hand-made and breaded, where as the nugget coating will be factory produced.

  • +1

Shut up and take my bum hairs (Will be crapping fire for weeks)

  • FYI normal Hot & Spicy pieces finishes this on Monday.

"We don’t know how to put this lightly… But Hot & Spicy heads out of stores Monday"
    https://www.facebook.com/KFCAustralia/videos/101563026348631…

    • does that mean last day monday?

      also was it anygood?

barely eat it but have a soft spot for deep fried chook and heat🔥

      • Yeah you should be able to get it on Monday.

And no it wasn't any good, H&S has not been any good for several years now.

      • +1

I never go to KFC but have been going nearly everyday for Hot n Spicy. It is real good. I can't stand the normal original recipe, so bland.

  • Finally HOT AND SPICY NUGGETS!

  • better be cooked in a pit of fire

    • +20

Did you spend the last 6 hours coming up with that?

  • +11

Hot & spicy is mild at best not like the old days

    • +4

I agree, curious on why they tone down the heat given so many people love spicy things

      • +3

I think the majority of white people prefer not so spicy though, and KFC want to capture a broad demographic. Disclaimer: I'm not white, I'm Persian, but most of my friends are white, so I think I know a thing or two about white people.

        • That's what I observe, too. Disclosure: Also not white, but marrying into white family. At least fiance is into hot food! #marriagematerial

  • Hot and spicy tenders when

  • +1

hot and spicy.. NUGGETS?! What sorcery is this?!

  • +3

I hope the nuggets are nice and crunchy. None of that soggy business please.

  • +5

I'll give them a go, but I have no expectations to them being any good.

Hot & Spicy has become so weak the past several years, I remember the good days in the 90s and early 2000s when the heat was actually decent… sadly those days are long gone.

I hope these nuggets have some sort of heat, but I won't be disappointed if they don't because you know, expectations and all.

  • -3

OMFGGG I INVENTED THESE! I told them to produce it about a year ago via complaints hahaha

    • -1

Oh My F@#$ing Good Golly God or just an echo in here? Can you post the ingredients and cooking timings you provided them in you complaint? Save me a trip to my local KFC where I will get poor service, missing items and a mixture of soggy nuggets with coating falling off balanced with some that are dried out to a chalky/cardboard texture from being hours old….

Props to the Bairnsdale KFC, went there a couple of times while on holidays recently and everything was how it should be and drive thru service was the fastest I have ever seen from any fast food place! Helps that they always seemed busy for fresh food turnover but they are clearly trained well.

  • If it isn't spicy enough, bring a chilli or few with yourself.

I do miss the spiciness of the real hot and spicy chicken they had a few decades ago.

  • Any Mulan Szechwan sauce with these spicy nuggets?

    • +3

      Leave

    • REEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • +1

The pit fire BBQ burger isn't available nation wide fyi

    • Yeah looks like it's a test burger for the Mornington Peninsula area

      • I want brad Pit fire BBQ burg !

    • Thanks for letting us know what it is. Any pictures around?
Ingredients include original fillet, crispy onion, lettuce, fiery BBQ sauce and cheese on a new glazed bun for those who wanna know.

  • Are the H&S nuggets crunchy at all? Or what is the coating like?

    • Not crunchy, but they taste nice and have a lil bit of kick to them

  • +1

Looks like its just regular nuggets that are then seasoned with spices after being cooked.

    https://www.facebook.com/KFCAustralia/videos/101563714164081…

    No crunch :(

    • -1

well what you expect. It's missing the skin and isn't just pure meat.

    • +1

Nuggets are produced with the seasoning, all we have to do is cook them, that ad is misleading.
And na they aren't crunchy :(

  • This is showing up as available now on my KFC app

    Edit:
Confirmed just called my local KFC and the Hot & Spicy Nuggets are available now (QLD)

  • In CANBERRA, every time I ordered 15 wings, I received 17-19 wings…… their managers must hate their staff…… I am gonna try the nuggets deal see how many do I get. Maybe 30 LOL

    • +5

Can't blame them, they only have 10 fingers and aren't allowed to take their shoes off to count the rest

  • This is not just Tuesday but from Tuesday onwards, correct?

    • Dates are under the description.

  • If the paper turns clear. 😁

  • Any of you guys tried the hot and spicy? How does it compare to the original nuggets?

    • +1

I had them last night. They're a bit spicy, but the texture isn't like hot and spicy chicken at all. It looks basically the same as regular kfc nuggets but really orange in colour.

      • Yeah the colour is a bit strange, like neon orange.

  • Had them for lunch yesterday via app, must've been a day early (WA).

Ordered the regular one and received the spicy one. Butt hurts today though.

  • Now when will they do Hot and Spicy Popcorn Chicken.?

    • +1

I believe they've tested it but it hasnt gone nationwide.
