Today I bought a BOSE QC 35 ii for $333.67. I bought $350 worth of Woolworths e gift card at 5% off, then bought $350 worth of catch gift card for 20% off. Bought them in $50 denominations and applied as gift cards (7 cards). Yes, 5 gift card limitations is not true.

Cheapest BOSE you can get.

QC 35 ii has been sold out (I was not alone to get the deal)

  The idea is a good one but your math is out. It takes more than 7 x $50 Catch cards to pay the $452.90. The balance can be paid by another means but there's no discount on that portion.
  If you have $350 worth of e-gift cards then you could buy 8 x $50 Catch cards and still have $37.50 left.
  Wouldn't the minimum cost attributable to the $452.90 purchase price of the Bose be $452.90 x .80 (20% discount on cost of Catch cards) x 0.95 (5% discount on e-gift cards) = $344.20. That would require you to buy 10 x $50 Catch cards.
  If you bought 9 x $50 Catch cards and paid $2.90 balance for the Bose then total cost would be $344.90 i.e. $450 x .80 x .95 = $342 cost for Catch cards + $2.90 balance paid by another means.
  Anyway, the idea is good but the explanation of how you did it doesn't add up.

  I did the same recently with catch gift cards and a pair of Sennheiser PXC550s. Worked out to be $309 Inc shipping. Pretty happy with that!

    I think they are grey imports like BOSE! and also thats why they can do a better pricing.. I think!
