  • battery or usb charging?

    • +1

      battery but efficient.

      • My batteries are over 8 months old and still going.

Light gets used for a total on-time of about 6 minutes a night.

      • yep, I have two up on my hallway ceiling with 3 Energizer batteries…has been going on for 11 months now without needing a change in battery. very useful and efficient

      Not usb. Not buying.

      • There is a USB rechargeable version, but I found the LED spread not as attractive.

I have 6 of these - All with Aldi Rechargeables.

        • +1

I find the spread plenty sufficient. It very much depends on your application. I prefer these: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/341121

          Hate batteries.

Oh the anonymous faceless neggers! hahahhahaha

      • these are sick, really efficient, and the halo is really nice. I also have 6 down the hall and they work fantastic!

        • any idea how to change the ROM (English version)on these cameras??

        • +1

@rapkhan: There is no english firmware for these devices I don't think? They are all chinese voice kits. App is in english, voice from camera on setup is chinese, apart from that, pretty much engrish everywhere.

        • @MorriJ: Cheers

    • New Xiafang is region locked to Mainland China. Older ones continue to work.

Best video review! Great for people who are afraid of black kids and old age.

"Xiaomi mijia induction night light, in the dark, in the name of love guardian love.
Afraid of the black children, old age,
At night, there is a good light open, for your love escort."

  • Thanks!

  • I got this in January. Put in new batteries then and still running steady. Haven't had to change batteries yet. I have one of those spot in house where if i have to the light switch is even further so I stucke one of these lights and its absolutely gorgeous. Enough light during night. You can adjust brightness i think but even lowest light is enough during night. Love it.

  • These things are fantastic - got them stationed all over the house. Very power efficient too - only had to replace the batteries once in the last 6 months of daily use. On that note, they're also a fantastic way to make use of all those Eneloops you bought on sale but still have lying around in their original packaging.

Have 2 of these and they are fantastic!
Missus is sensitive to light and we installed (a 3M hook will work) one behind the bathroom door.
Perfect for going to toilet out of bed at night.
guarantee they are far better than those sensor lights you find at Bunnings.

its 'light sensitive and body induction' tech works perfectly, often we open the bathroom door and switch on the ceiling light without triggering xiaomi light. In other words xiaomi light only switches on with a body movement in dark environment.

    Pros
    great looking
excellent light angle, not too bright to irritate your eyes.
    2 brightness settings
    low power consumption

Total is coming to ~$36 for three.

  • Anyone received theirs?

  • coupon has reached limit

  • Got mine today

  • Mine is stuck at "Sydney, Received And Clearing" for 7 days.

    • Good luck with that. I've had a Mi Band 2 purchased from GB that has been sitting at "Sydney, Received and Clearing" since the 18th of May, so that's now approaching 4 weeks. Almost time to lodge a PP claim.

      • I paid for registered tracking but cannot track on any website just their own website.

  • 2nd order stuck for 3 weeks at Sydney, Received And Clearing. Anyone else?
