Have been happily using the free 50Gb each month option for a while now but ran out after finding lots of cool new TV Series out like Westworld S2 etc.

Had a quick look around to see if there were any promo code and found this stack social one: https://stacksocial.com/sales/3-year-windscribe-vpn

It says ending in 7 days from 19/05/18.

I went with the 3 year option for USD $22.49. After placing order using a no fee for currency conversion credit card I got an instant redemption code from stack social and I was able to use that within the 'claim voucher' section within my windscribe account. I now have a 3 year pro account… woop woop.

The Pitch
Windscribe is much more than a VPN. It's a desktop application and browser extension that work in conjunction to protect your online privacy, unblock websites, and remove ads and trackers from your everyday browsing. With Windscribe, you'll never mess with confusing settings and options menus again; just turn it on on your desktop once, and it's good to go in the background forever. Apart from the easy-to-use interface, one of the biggest benefits of choosing Windscribe's service is that it provides unlimited downloads and unlimited simultaneous connections. You'll find that most VPNs limit you to a maximum of five devices (if that), making Windscribe's offering a great choice for owners of multiple devices and small businesses alike. It's also touted for its above average anonymity, including a strict no-logging policy and anonymous sign-up that doesn't even require as much as an email address. Why the paid version over the free version? The paid version offers unlimited downloads and unlimited data — making it well worth the purchase. It's no surprise that Canadian-based company, Windscribe, is one of the most recommended VPNs on the market — check out the reviews below for yourself.

  • Don't understand what the voucher got you? You already paid for 3 year option pro account for USD $22.49. What does the voucher qualify you for?

    • its like groupon when you buy the deal then stacksocial gives you a redemption code, you then login to your windscribe account and and click the 'claim voucher' link and insert the redemption code supplied by stacksocial and voila.

  • Bought one and successfully installed. Pretty easy installation on all my apple devices, MBP, iPad, iPhone, etc. However, I am NOT able to access Ozbargain site on my MBP (both Chrome and Safari) when Windscribe is ON, even just using the Best Server site (Australia)?! :-( Any advice?

    • Working fine for me, replying through it atm.

Shouldn't make a difference but I'm using Vivaldi on Win10.

      • Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately still not working for me even after rebooting my computer. I am using iinet but a you said, it shouldn't have made a difference?! I have to turn Windscribe off to access this site (and type this comment :/) Funnily, I have no issue accessing the same site on my iPad using Safari with Windscribe on!!!

        • Check your firewall settings

  • how are the speeds now you pay? Can you compare using the same country as when you had 50GB thanks?

    • I have the lifetime subscription, it's not great. I guess that's usually the case since all data needs to be encrypted. Hopefully, they'll improve on it.

      • Is it really slow..?

  • Can you use this on an android phone?
