I used to use MyNetFone for internet. I wouldn't recommend them after my experience.

It was good for maybe 1-2 months.
Then it kept slowing down. Download dropped to appallingly slow speeds. Drop outs were frequent.
When I rang up for technical support it could take over an hour, going through all the same usual tests, eventually to have no improvement or result.

A few things were tried, like connecting me to a different point (I don't know the technical terms) at the junction, putting me on a "stable" profile etc.

This is on a HFC NBN connection. Many months on, they finally claimed, they bought from Optus and Optus had been overselling the service. They said this had been the problem and that speed would never improve. When asked if they would compensate for on selling for months when they knew of the problem, they said "No". They claimed they had delivered on the definition of "Fast" or "Super fast" which was the old 1.0 Mbps download definition. (NB: Often they hadn't delivered that)

I'd recommend being wary of any internet package offered by this company.

They have a good VoIP service only it seems.

      • Agreed their VoiP has been a simple and good service
