It can steam 1 egg at a time, not sure how practical that is.

  • +1

    is this a joke?

    • +1

Nope but it is pretty eggciting. Love eggs. I agree the practical claim is somewhat, eggs'aggerated though. Who only ever wants just one?

    • +1

      No, it's a yolk.

  • +2

Wow, this will be so handy in all the kitchens of Australia that don't have the rare combination of saucepan, stove and water
    Thanks Rosegal!! You're awesome

Here is a similar device, cheaper (~AU$5.31), but you put it into your microwave oven. Does up to four eggs at once. The lid and the perforated plate are metal, so the eggs themselves are shielded from the microwaves, so no explosions. The heat to cook the eggs comes from steam, generated by water you pour into the base (same way as the cooker in this deal).

    • I can put metal in my microwave?

This would be nice @ work if it works.

Where is the world getting to? People would soon start selling products that can boil milk?

  • Anyone got experiences with 2 or more eggs at once, and has auto shut down with a timer?

  • Unusual & suspicious there is no mention of time taken to cook 1 egg, just…
Easy to use… Easy and quick to set up, only needs a few minutes (which may refer to set up time or is it cooking time?)

Specs: 220V 120W from photo, so will likely be slow.

(I used to demonstrate cooking eggs in decaying vegetation - to show the heat produced. It just takes longer to cook eggs with low heat.)
