  • Which is better, the Farpoint 40 or Porter 46? Has anyone experienced both?

    • +3

The farpoint has more comfortable straps, but the porter has better organisation e.g the laptop compartment is closer to the back on the porter.
The farpoint being smaller will attract less scrutiny from flight crew looking to weigh your baggage. The porter is technically too tall for carryon at 57 cm but gate staff would have to be eagle eyef to notice that! Both are capable of carrying far more weight than can be carried on by most airlines so you will have to be careful if you are placing on using it flying with no checked in luggage.
Both have large voids for packing, which I would suggest using packing cubes in to make sure your stuff is still nicely arranged when you get where you're going, but the porter has stiffer edges so the walls of the bag will stand up better when empty.

Not at all - the blue colour is a lot less conspicuous! Although red may warn people to keep away because you're dangerous. Just don't go running with the bulls in Spain!

    • Bulls are colour blind to both red and green. The bull is thus more likely to see your blue backpack.

    • They are annoyed by the movement of objects, not colour.

      • And next you’re going to tell me Santa isn’t real? :(

  • I highly recommend this pack.

We just gonna post every bag available from surf dome? Feel it’s a duplicate to this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/379838

  • Damn, I pulled the trigger on the other deal.

    However, so worth it!!

It holds a surprising amount of clothing and is a lot more space than I thought it would be - highly recommend it!

  • Good stuff! Time to upgrade from my Country Road duffle which only has a shoulder strap. Thanks op!

  • Medium/Large out of stock.

  • My order got cancelled :(
