  • Nice deal , about time!

  • Can you do a deal on BB 9780?

  • No 3G but good price for those chasing an outdated BB.

    • Just on this 3G thing. I used to have a Blackberry Storm and had 3G disabled nearly all the time. The battery life was so much better without 3G and also my BB did not have any app that really needs 3G. This was more than a year ago and it might have some app now. The other issue is that I always had issues loosing the Blackberry service on 3G (might be realted to being with Voda though).

Nice phone by the way :)

      K.

      • You make a great point about 3g battery hogging, especially when connected to a Bes server

Loosing the blackberry service is not carrier dependant, i am starting to think its a RIM problem that no one has admitted to, i have worked BES support for all 3 carriers and they all do this.

Wonder if 4G will be worse for power consumption, i think it would have to

        • I don't know about the blackberry specifically, but apparently in general 4G sucks down the juice as well :(

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S and I've even disabled 3G on that one, and just use standard G… sure, it's slow to check anything on the web, but it's more stable (bad 3G reception at home and work) and the battery lasts waaaaay longer. At home I turn on wi-fi though.

  • No GPS either but anyways, good price

    • Blackberry GPS has always been terrible anyway, its only just useable recently!

  • What's the RRP?

  • Why not get an E71 for around the same price?

Has 3G and GPS, and also a massive 1500maH battery to boot which lasts 5-6 days on standby mode, with 3g on.

  • Got the last one!

Paid $195 for phone & free shipping. Immediately after checkout I did a a search for Blackberrys on the site & the phones price had already gone up to $249 + extra for shipping.

Great price! Love BBs, hate touch phones!

  • Any deals on the HTC wildfire?

    • Tell what you think a fair deal is for the Wildfire?

      • $250 with free shipping?

Else a bundle deal, HTC Wildfire + 16GB card + Silicon case for $300?

        • +1

How about HTC Wildfire + 8GB Card + Case + Free Delivery $300?

  • Sounds good, is the case this one (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/38011)?

Post the deal and ill get one :)
