That's not an S9 for $699. That's an S9 on a plan for $95/$100 over 12 months.
It's good for people who love expensive data plans, but not for anyone wanting to buy a phone outright.

I checked and JB Hi Fi and Dick Smith have the same price.

Normally TGG, JB hi-fi, Harvey and Officeworks sells it for $788 or closer. Now and then they drop their price and again it goes back to its original price few weeks later. TBH, it should have been this sort of price for a two years old phone.

Anyone following the price of these would be pretty pissed they are still this stubbornly high…. They really should be consistently in the 400 range by now….
