Think it's an old man's jacket? Perhaps the vintage Baracuta G9's and Ralph Laurens were, but the Ben Sherman has a contemporary, slimmer cut. If you think its an old mans style, stick to your low rise skinny jeans and tall tees.

      It's a very different Harrington. It lacks the elasticated hems and cuffs, giving it a more rigid look. If you like it and it fits you though, why not?

    Got my Navy S, seems this is new revision of same jacket?

    I purchased a same Ben Sherman Harrington Jacket price matched from David Jone 1.5 years ago, after Oz bargain similar deal previously, in Sand colour small size. I love it!

    The new one just received just feel different to my current one, which I have done a brief comparison:

    the new jacket is lighter and slightly smaller fit than previous version (given I have both size S).

    The Ben Sherman label is different, product code (from the inside pocket tags) is different. E.g. this one I bought online has longer product code compares to one I bought from DJ.

    The sew lining inside they have changed slightly, the old one lining goes all the way to the zip, whereas as new one cut off before the zip. Could be reason why the new one feels lighter, less quality made.

    The collar of older version is 5mm wider, and the cutting of the collar is slight longer at the end and in better cutting shape. (the collar which stick out)

    I can take some comparison pics if people interested, but do not know where I can upload them etc.

    Overall it is still good jacket, and you can not tell them apart just from looking at them, ie. lining inside and cutting are very near identical. But compare side by side to previous version I have, it feels cheaper and thinner, which I was bit of surprise and disappointed.

        Hmm not sure about the radish/pickles! More of a chemical smell like what they use so the jacket doesn’t crease for display. I guess I’ll have to soak and wash it a few tomes.

    Never would have guessed it but I’ve been told by an Englishman that the Harrington was the favoured uniform of skinheads in England back in the day.
