  • I have the metal buttoned version. Great bang for buck.

  • Thanks for the post. Re mode memory, does this mean that whenever you switch light on it will revert to what the last mode was (ie just switch on and you're in the mode you want)?

    • Yes. It blinks in two seconds after being turned on, then it'll remember the last intensity.

  • Good price and great flashlight. Considering getting one to just leave in the glovebox.

Is Lithium Ion battery safe to leave in a car? I want to do it too, but worried it may not be safe.

    • Another one in your toilet, near the front door, one near the back door, one in your kitcken, and so on :)

Operation UI. Courtesy of Simon the Convoy guy.

    • Oh wow!

I've got one of these and they're good.

  • What about this one less than half the price?

    • That's erm.. crap. This Convoy is like the bare minimum. Absolute stunner for the asking price. Get this and start your flashlight collection.

      • Can you still get batteries for these through customs?

        • I don't think so.

I get mine from here - they were pretty good when I had a problem that was my fault.

  • What's a flashlight of similar calibre that has a warm colour temperature, any recommendations?

Just in case you don't notice, this torch will not run on your Eneloops and needs a larger and totally different battery (Type 18650, 3.7V) and that and the new charger will cost you more than the torch. BTDT .. :-( .. !!
