B. Check to ensure that the power cord is connected to an active wall outlet and also firmly connected to the Charger.

  1. How do I check my device's Input current and voltage?

Thanks for Power3S tech and fast charing identify IC that you can use this charger to charge your un-fast charing devices as same as universal charger which maximum support 5V/2A output. The same applies to other fast charging devices.

  • read quite a few articles, saying fast charging reduces battery life and charge from 0 to 100% is bad.
Not sure if I want to get QC 3.0 any more. or is it true?

    • If you can't disabled fast charging from within phone settings, then consider an old lower current charger for night time charging and then a QC one for travel or at work where a quick top up is needed.

      misinformation
Fast charge in itself is mostly fine, though it can increase the battery temperature a bit. If a battery is too hot for too long its "not good" for the longevity.
Typically not an issue for devices designed for it.

dropping a battery to 0% is not good no. but that's got nothing to do with FastCharge. That's universal of lithium ion batteries.
Maxing a battery to 100% isn't the best practice either but again that's not a FastCharge issue.

look at the end of the day I replace my phone every 1-2 years so I use and abuse it as I like. trying to "baby sit" my phone battery is ridiculous. I want it ready when i need it so try not to worry too much and just charge it when you can. Its not like you're going to expect it to be exactly the same as you bought it in a few years from now.

    • Got a phone which can still change battery, replace it after a year and then use for another year before upgrading to a new phone. Never look back.

I stick my phone on charge overnight every single night. The last 3 phones have all had this, and none have had battery issues at the 2 years mark when I replace them. My current S7 is going strong, so I'll wait for a 3rd year before I upgrade (and see whats on offer by then). Pretty sure the batteries in the upper end phone are good for at least 2 years unless you're running them to 0 every day?

  • This one's a dollar (USD) cheaper if you don't care about the EU plug. I got the one in this deal as I wanted the AU plug.

  • Will this support MTK PumpExpress rapid charging rather than defaulting to 2A?

  • Nice deal, cheapest I've seen a half decent QC charger with native Australian AC port.

    • Same, really need a discount on these PD chargers.

  • Thanks OP - good deal. Bought 2 the last time it was this price https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/353430

Going back for another one this time.
