Can’t you just supply with CN plug which in near equivalent to AU/NZ plug?

    • +13

Why not just choose the AU plug?

      • +1

Description should say AU Plug, not AU Adapter if it actually has AU pin outs.

        • +1

I see that you just edited. Perhaps just change it to AU plug instead of having the adapter crossed out?

        • @Clear:
          👌

    • Just select AU adaptor. Fits directly to the charger, not some dodgy piece hanging off the plug.

    • It comes as an Australian pin device, not an extra travel adaptor.

      • So the part that goes into the socket isn't removable/swappable? IE Will need an AU to UK plug if I take it to the UK?

        • I don't have mine here but what I remember yes, you'll need a UK adaptor (unless you buy the UK one)

        • @PVA: Thx mate.

        • I have one sitting in front of me and it an AU plug and its permanent just like in the picture, if you order the wrong one then tough.

        • @AMLagonda: the one in the picture is not an AU plug…

  • +1

Is there any such wall charger that has 2 USB PD Fast Charging ports to charge 2 x Samsung S8 simultaneously?

    • One for each hand?

Seriously though, there are plenty of similar charges with 4 or 5 ports, just use one of those.

    • +2

I keep track of the new chargers coming in and out of China and haven't seen one yet. Happy to be proven wrong by someone.

    • Do S8s use USB PD? I thought that was only for laptops.
If so, how much faster would it be than a QC 3.0 charge?

    • +1

The S8 can work with both PD and QC…

But to date I haven't seen any PD or QC chargers with more than one PD/QC port; the rest of the ports are standard 2.4A

      Best bet is the Blitzwolf QC3 charger with 1x QC3 + 1x 2.4A ports

      • @blonky,
Is Galaxy Note 8 compatible with both PD & QC 3.0?

        • Good question - can’t seem to find anything conclusive but can confirm my S8 fast charges over both PD and QC - I own both the Blitzwolf S6 and S10 chargers

    • There's a QC 3 and 2.4A dual plug.

    • +1

Anker 5 port, 2 are quick charge. Search Amazon or eBay.

    • Blitzwolf make another similar to this with 2 ports, available at Banggood. Only 1 of the ports is QC3 though, the other is 'normal'.

  • Just ordered. Need a spare for the man cave.

  • I have one of these. Does the job well and yes, it's AU shaped without need for adapters

  • Thanks Rep, it looks good!
Do you know if there will be any discounts on Micro and Lightning cords?

    • Yep would love a deal on cables only.

  • +1

I need one of these but in the next 4 weeks. Worth the risk? Cheapest I've found locally is $30.

    • +1

You can pay an extra $5.48 for 'Priority Direct Mail', which has an expected delivery time frame of 7-13 business days rather than 7-25 with standard shipping.

  • +11

Rep, any deal for the dual USB port version?

    https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S6-QC-3_0-2_4A-30W-Dua…

    • Would like to see a deal on this too.

    • Me too!

  • +3

Come with a 'Free Gift' - BlitzWolf® BW-CB12 2.4A USB Type-C Reversible to Micro Usb 3.33ft/1m Data Cable as well.

  • No deals for USB-C cable instead of microUSB? Or would you need one of those Micro-USBC adapters?

    • Read the comment above, claims it comes with both

      • The above seems to be a microUSB to USB-C (not USB-C to USB). I don't think it's what @BargainKen is looking for.

        • I dont mind either TBH, its just i only see a plain old micro-usb being included which is a little irrelevant given all the phones are moving to USBC now?

        • This is what I think will also need as I dont have any USB-USBC cables around but a shit-tin of USB-MicroUSB cables lying about - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122777792328

  • Just ordered 2, didn't see any free micro usb cable, is it automatically applied?

Argh, looks like you need to add it separately and I can't cancel my order.

    • Last time I ordered, the cable was in the same pack. I didn't order separately.

      • I did the original order on my phone and didn't see the free gift. I just tried again on PC and I selected the free gift and it showed in the basket.

Trying to get on live chat to see if I can get them added to my order as they are not showing in my order history. Weird though as the free gift is automatically selected when I do it on PC web browser.

        • Try the OP, store rep, they are really good and may sort it quick.

        • @PVA: Will do, cheers. It looks like the mobile website doesn't add the free gift, but the PC does

        • +1

          @chromium:
The power adaptor will have a microUSB cable inside the package anyway.
The free gift is a USB C cable ( not a microUSB)

        • +1

@PVA: Yeah I know, but may as well get them if they're free :)

        • @PVA: On live chat and it's like pulling teeth :)

I did message the rep as well

Ended up having to cancel the order and reorder them.

You can only buy one per order with the free gift and the free gift only gets added if you order from a desktop browser

    • Based on the description:
      Package Include:
      1 * BlitzWolf® BW-S9 18W USB Charger
      1 * BlitzWolf® 2.4A Micro USB Charging Cable 1m/1.33ft
      1 * BlitzWolf® User Manual
      1 * BlitzWolf® Warranty Card

      • +1

Yeah but there was also a free gift of a type C to micro USB cable

        • True 👍

  • +1

Would be great if there was a deal for a two port version ( I assume this model https://m.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S6-QC-3_0-2_4A-30W-Dual-… )

  • Can you do a deal on the longer Micro USB cables?

    https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-Ampcore-BW-MC6-2_4A-Micro…

    • Turbo edition is better.

      • how?

        • +1

USB 3.0 and better build quality.

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/347703#comment-5382328

Edit: Mistake, Micro USB ampcore turbo cables are USB 2.0. however they still have arguably better build quality.

        • +1

USB 3.0 and can output at 5V/3A compared to the other with USB 2.0 and 5V/2.4A output.

        • @Clear:

cheers. only need it to charge xbox one controllers and prefer black so non-turbo is fine.

        • @Clear:

It appears to not do USB 3 actually. Must only be for USB-C cables.

        • +2

@katz: Woops I made a mistake. I was looking at the USB-C cables which output at 3A. Turbo MicroUSB is still 2.4a. Non-turbo are fine for the Xbox One controllers.

      • Thanks, didn't know about the ampcore turbo but it seems to only be available in red on banggood? https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-Ampcore-Turbo-MC9-Braided…

Anyway, I'm not too fussed as they seem very similar.

        • Only difference I can note is the use of gold plated connectors and possibly different 'injection molded' plugs. Otherwise the specs are exactly the same.

  • Is 18W good enough for the Switch?

No idea but this one says 30w.
Says if you login the price goes down to around aud$15, still has the bonus cable.

      • +1

That one you linked is no good for the switch. If you don't want to risk damaging your device you'll want a USB-PD charger.

        • Can you explain the difference please? I thought qc3.0 was a standard.

        • +1

          @PVA:
QC is a completely different but similar standard to USB-PD and cannot be interchanged

Google Pixel, iPhone 8/X (fastcharge), Macbooks and the N Switch charge via USB-PD
Most Android phones charge via QC (if they support fastcharge), S8 supports both

        • @blonky: Is there a difference in speed between 18W v 30W when it comes to Iphone 8/x?

        • +1

Damn, looking for a cheap C-charger that's decently smaller than the cottage sized stock ninty one as well..

        • +4

@PVA: blonky summed it up. QC3.0 is a licensed charging standard by Qualcomm and USB-PD is a free to use charging standard by USB-IF who maintain USB compliance. An advantage of USB-PD is that its using USB-C and can achieve 3A on higher voltages than QC3 and supports 5A charging.

So basically if your device uses QC3 get a QC3 charger and if it supports USB-C/USB-PD get a USB-PD/C charger.

Quick Charge 4+ is compliant with USB-C and USB-PD standards. Available later this year with the introduction of new Qualcomm chipsets.

        • @Clear:

          do blitzwolf have PD chargers?

need a spare for the switch

        • +2

          @katz:
          Yes they do -
          https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S10-30W-USB-Type-C-PD-…

Some PD chargers like this one will do QC as well, but most only have 1 port in total

        • +1

@katz: Someone linked this one which is appropriate.

        • +1

          @Gavman:
There's a few sites comparing the different methods - in general yes the 30w (or 29w Apple) chargers are faster but anything with greater wattage don't charge any faster than the 30w one.

You will need Apple's USB-C to Lightning cable too; there are currently no 3rd parties who are licenced to produce it

          https://www.gizmodo.com.au/2017/11/we-tested-iphone-fast-cha…

          https://9to5mac.com/2017/10/02/whats-the-best-fast-charger-f…

        • @Clear:

Good news on QC4. Will be interesting to see size of chargers though.

        • @Clear:

Really? That car charger looks big to me for only having one port.

        • @blonky:
The business! OzB history says they occasionally go down to USD10.99, time to watch this one!

        • +1

          @blonky:
          Thanks.
So they would all work. Just not have the quick charge kick in and would charge like other chargers.

        • @b2dz: Yeah for the car charger there is. We'll see what the other manufacturers come up with.

  • Thanks ordered a spare.

  • +1

So how long will this take to charge an iphone compared to a normal 2.1A adapter?

    • +1

      The same.

QC2 and QC3 is for specific Android devices.

It should step down to whatever voltage your device requires I believe (2.4 or lower), though happy to be proved wrong.

      • You're correct :)

  • In case anyone looking to purchase this for the iphone X. It wont support fast charge according to the apple support page, has to be Apple USB-C to Lightning cable.

    https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT208137

"Your iPhone fast charges up to 50 percent in 30 minutes when you use an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable and one of these adapters:

    Apple 29W, 61W, or 87W USB-C Power Adapter
A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)

If you're not sure which Apple Power Adapter you have, check the wattage on the bottom of the adapter:"

      • BW-S10 would be suitable as it's 30W and USB-PD. It's incorrectly listed QC 3.0 however.

        • I have an iphone x so looking for fast charge capability with USB-C to lighting cable

        • @Gavman:

Yes, grab the Blitzwolf S10 $20 + Apple USB-PD to Lightning cable $35 (no other cables will work)

        • @Gavman: the link you have provided is from Apple US website. It’s $35 at Apple AU website.

I bought these cables from Amazon AU and they works great with Blitzwolf S10 to charge my iPhone X at the fast rate.

Highly recommend these cables. You get two cables for $19.90 (1M and 2M)

This is from the listing -

This cable has been successfully upgraded on 11.26 2017 and has been fully supported by PD fast charging.

        • @OzSikh:
Although those cables might work they aren’t MFI; not sure why you’d risk an X with them

        • @blonky: I recommend you read comments in this post

    • +1

A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)

Magic words right there. This BW deal is a QC 3.0 charger and not a USB-PD charger.

    • Couldnt you just use a USB-C to USB-A adapter then just run regular lightning cable from a USB-PD charger instead ?

  • Does anyone know if the Blitzwolf wireless Qi charger does 7.5w for Iphone X after iOS update?

    https://m.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-FWC1-Fast-Charge-Qi-Wire…
