Valid for a departure in 36 hours only. Very difficult to arrange flights to AYQ within such a short timeframe to save a equivalent to a carton of beer. (or in Uluru a 6 pack of beer!)

    • Since there have been so many responses, we've extended this deal until Monday 11th June!

Flights from Friday-Wednesday with Jetstar are approximately $360 return (from Melbourne).

I can't bear to see so many ME ME ME posts who aren't aware other people who aren't them exist in this world. People… just because you aren't sitting in a backpackers in Alice Springs or Darwin or a traveler on your way there doesn't make this a bad deal. If a deal doesn't suit you that doesn't mean it's neg worthy…you aren't the only person in the world being marketed to. Sheesh! There are probably dozens of backpackers driving Wicked campers around the north right now or people already traveling to the north looking for something to do. This is specifically a backpackers deal and when I was involved in the industry many of them made their choices at the last moment.

I agree, though the discount is a little underwhelming.

Uluru/Kata Tjuta are obviously close to the start point - the real trek is off to Kings Canyon.

      • True. It isn't huge but it pays for a couple more nights somewhere which is very attractive for budget conscious travelers who may have been looking for something to do.
