Ah yes it is I, a new customer.

    …for about the 20th time

Coles online prices seem more expensive than the stores

just shop the specials. They're the same price instore and online

I think they are (besides specials). I'll create a shopping list using the Coles site, and then be pleasantly surprised while shopping it in-store, because everything is a bit cheaper.

    • They are definitely more expensive than instore.
Woollies online price is the same as instore.

  • Was using Coles delivery almost every fortnight for over 2 years and could count the correct deliveries we had on 1 hand with less than 5 fingers.

Items were left in the truck requiring the driver to return a few hours later or the next day. Items were left on the loading dock, items were left in the freezer at the store, boxes crushed, plastic packaging split, milk useby next day, meat useby in 2 days, mouldy onions, advertised specials were out of stock and more.

Drivers were given impossible delivery runs and some times we had them come up to 2 hours after the delivery times booked.

We only stuck with them as a family member was working there and we used their staff discount code. When they left, so did we.

    • I’ve had zero problems with them. Each to their own.

Come off it! I've found it's a systemic problem at Coles (may vary with area & staff). Woolies has been mainly on time & no missing items (just extra items like 1kg of smoked salmon😀)

Coles has been late & stuffed up so many deliveries I've given up on them. (Plus can't use my 5% discounted Coles gift cards with online orders & most online prices are dearer than store if not on special - unlike Woolies.)

But last time I was verbally abused when I complained twice about one 1 collect order they repeatedly stuffed up. (Order was not at pickup locker 30 minutes after pick up time, finally arrived 1 hour late after first complaint, then all frozen food was missing. That was a long wait in a car park for half my order😠)

While lodging complaint about missing food, I was told pick up orders could arrive any time within the 4 hour time slot & I must wait, rather than be available for collection between those times - so why was I complaing you…##@##!!

Complained again to supervisor - they checked recording of my civil second complaint & issued verbal & emailed apologies, assurance staff member would be retrained, plus credit on next order I really didn't want to make.

It's not the responsibility of the customer to ensure quality control of their systems & staff training at Coles😠

In my experience, Coles online orders are an annoying waste of time. A completely different experience to the friendly staff in stores.

Fantastic. And in my experience I’ve had nil issues at all. Friendly and efficient service, prompt pickup with no errors.
