Just got a call from GoCatch today about a free 20 dollar voucher, no minimum spend required, not limited to new user. Successfully apply to my wife's account as well. They also advertise it having no surge price compare to other ride share apps.

        Why did you clean out every ones credit without consulting?
        Why didn't you leave ONE code such as peoples referrals?
        Why did you remove old unrelated credits people had?

        Why would anyone trust your dodgy company now?

        Ok. Well firstly then your app shouldn't allow people to stack codes.
        Secondly why didn't you just remove the one incorrectly stacked code. Why did you remove both including my legit referral code??

        Instead of your copy and paste generic reply, how about review the issue - I understand if previous promotional credit is waived… but you can't just take existing credits that weren't free (25% redemption on past travel) and expect people won't complain…

    Why am I not surprised they remove the codes? Last year when they launched, I had added one code and referred my own partner and she added a code.

    After we both took one trip each, both our accounts got suspended. WTF kind of company.

    For this promo, I would suggest if you have an active account, add the code and use it immediately, especially if travelling a long distance to the airport, for e.g.

    But this company is one I wouldn't support with my wallet.

    Personally, I think it has changed from GoCatch to GoneCrap.

      Yeah - imagine the shtf Brian from Legal was in when they came into work and saw $322,480 worth of vouchers had been claimed overnight!!

    Wow. All my credits gone including credit I had earned from their previous rebate promo. Have asked them to delete my account and app has now been uninstalled.

    I had $10 credit in my account from last year and they removed even that.. uninstalled the app.

    All credits also removed with no option to re-add. If you read some of the reviews in the Google Play store about Taxi upgrades this is one company to stay well away from.

    GoCatch has always been the most expensive way to hail a taxi. All their promotions are just smoke and mirrors trying to hide the fact that you end up paying more using the app. This bait and switch screw up is not helping their image either. And they have the audacity to email and CONGRATULATE me about the "free Rewards Membership", only to hide the message of "we're revoking your credit" in the end. Like I said, it's always smoke and mirrors, even with their email trying to clean up the mess. I can't stand poor service, let along shady practice. I have emailed their support to permanently close my account and already removed the app from my phone.

          Received the call. Asked about my lost existing $155 credit I had lodged a complaint about - but sir, were giving you a free upgrade and giving you $25…😠
          No response to my complaint.

    Wow they even had the nerve to call me to advise me of their great offer for ozbargain… I requested they re add my credit and they said no. Told me to delete my number and not to call again. Expect calls from them everyone… Ask them to delete your number!

    Got a call from an indian bloke saying 'v r giving all ozbargains 25 dollar cradit and free membership, pls update app' (in his words). Then I keep getting emails from Go Catch asking me to add a payment method.

    Might still stay away, had the $80 stuck I might have given them a go but they sound dodgy and $25 wont get you far anyway.

    GoCatch has been calling everybody about the great news of offering people "free membership upgrade" and asking for good reviews online to hide the bad press they have been receiving for the scam they pulled. Most calls forgot to mention the unilateral wiping of all credit from users' accounts. The lies continue.

    They really need to take it easy on copying and pasting their lies. GoCatch got caught red handed changing their Ts&Cs to cover up their ass. There wasn't any "non-stacking" clause before. Want proof? Ts&Cs Section 23 Before & After

    Oh, by the way, calling people up to trick them into giving you positive reviews is also highly unethical, if not against Ts&Cs of most websites. Beware, if you haven't received the scam call yet, you will soon.

    They still haven't deleted my account/personal information as requested and tried to give me a $20 credit instead. If it's not deleted soon I will be making a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

      I told them to delete mine after they called me, then offered me 25 bucks to stay. Told them to shove it, delete me. They have now.
      Downward spiral, gocatch! Enjoy it!
