Pretty blah given there's 27" 165 Hz GSync IPS panels going for ~$800, and they're likely to get cheaper.

While you'll definitely notice the resolution bump from a 24" 1080p monitor, it's a really tiny screen size for 80% more pixels. If you can spend $500 on a monitor, save some more dineros and hit a sweeter spot.

For me TN = no deal. Especially at this price. Yes I know someone is probably going to neg me for saying this but it’s about time they phase out TN or condemn it to the business line of monitors.

Then again I’m probably an ips elitist so take what I say with a grain of salt

      Could not agree more.

    • Yeh TN is a sacrifice for sure. I am using this monitor and I would say it's good enough. Gsync, 1440p and 165hz was more important to me. The good 27" monitors are between 800-900 which is a fair bit of money and more than most would spend on a monitor. I am going to pair it with a nice colour accurate IPS for my design work. Which will run me about 400. So I get a dual monitor setup for about the same price.

      • Even with games I prefer IPS. What peeves me more is dull image quality more than tearing or otherwise
