Are these good? I can basically have my home monitor and a few devices plugged into this, then I’m good to go with my MacBook Pro?

    • that is exactly what i am doing. plug and play, good quality.

  • +1

Yep, I got one for work. Works well

    • Can this thing hooks up to two or three monitors.

      • +1

Not sure mate. I just use one

@Aussie88 - I believe the technical term is "Mónitage à trois".

      • I'd be keen to know that as well. At first glance it doesn't appear so

        • I'd like a deal on one of these things where they do two hdmi outputs. Can you get these cheap?

      • Last sale I bought two of these for work and have one monitor connected to each - no issues with a MacBook Pro, except the dongles get a little hot.

        • I have this one too - just note that the USB3.0 does cause interference and dropouts with 2.4ghz wifi. Isn't a problem if you have a better router that does 5GHz though - I didn't and ended up buying one.

New modem router on sale was cheaper than buying the offical apple HDMI/USB multi dongle.

      • Seriously doubt it. It would need to be Thunderbolt 3 compatible most likely to support multiple monitors, and it only has one HDMI output.

  • Wonder if it would work with a galaxy S8.

Warning, it takes 2 months for delivery

    • Says I'm getting it on Tuesday.

      • +3

Two months from now, on Tuesday.

        • "Will dispatch Jun 22"

        • @UnciasDream:

Can confirm - bought one with the last sale 1 month delivery from date of shipping

          @BALLAN92:

The whole point of Amazon Prime is free priority two day shipping.

        • @UnciasDream:

That's a typo in their system. The 'n' key is very close to the 'l' key. It's meant to say Jul 22

Can i use this to plug into 2nd monitor with my mac air 2013? Thanks

  • Dammit!

    • Just got in before you mate, usually I am the one that misses these deals lol

No onboard GTX 1080 TI, no deal

    • What's the difference?

      • Computers alliance?

      Band 28?

      • Notch?

        • But can it run Crysis?

  • Will this enable Samsung Dex if used with a Note 8,etc? No mention in the description.

    • Nope.

  • Have one, and can confirm they’re awesome! Very well built (same build quality as much more expensive ones) and has worked flawlessly so far with my Dell 4K monitor and 2017 MacBook.
