Some Logitech Gear - 100% Cashback Via Online Redemption - Starts 1 Feb 2011

4040

Some Logitech Mice, Keyboards, Webcams, Headsets and Cooling Pads are able to claim 100% cashback from Feb 1

see the website here
http://www.logitechcashback.com.au

still not a bad deal - given that after cashback, you essentially get the product for free

The stickers are on ALL the products at Dick Smith Arndale - and on the sticker it says, "Purchase me and receive 100% cashback". The upload is a photo of the sticker itself. I got excited as I thought I could pick up a logitech steering wheel with the cash back, but upon upon further investigation, I can see that only a limited number of products are included in this deal.

Only applies to these old models but 5 per household is not bad.

M100 wired mouse
M215 wireless mouse
K200 keyboard
C200/C210 web cam
Clearchat style headset
MK250/MK260 wireless combo
N100/N120 cooling pad

$300,000 is available for the cashback. If there are just 3,000 customers, so far, who know about the deal, that's about $100 each.

So, just a heads up there is a chance you won't get a cashback

I would send 2 simply to not risk nullifying your claim.

    MK250
    N100

bloody expensive at $109.90 for both from DSE, but it's worth it provided I get the cashback.

    • lol even though OW jacked up the price of N100 by $10 for today, it was still $73.25

      • the N100 alone was $59.95 at DSE, seems OW is ripping off people even more.

      • I only paid $39.25 at OW for the N100????? Are you sure they didn't charge you for two at that price???

        • yeah it's $39.25 and they jacked up the price by $10 as noted by footywiz11..

        • isn't footywiz saying he paid 73.25 for the N100?!? which is why the next reply says OW is obviously ripping people off…..in actuality DSE is the rip

        • Well, if we really want to do this …

They are all ripping us off but we don't care as long as logitech reimburses us :)

        • hmm yeah not sure what he's saying now.. but it was 39.25 when i bought it.. but on sunday it was on special for $29.25 even on their online site.. wentworthville OW still had the sticker price of $29.25 yesterday.. but it would've been updated by now

  • +2

anyone know what's the receipt number on a DSE receipt? the top one or the one next to the date and time?

    • +1

I have the same question. Could anyone help?

      • Yeah i got the same question, anyone?

        • +1

Called DSE, said its the top right number (should be xxx_xxxxxx).

  • 2nd claim form error has been resolved.

Just submitted 2nd form as I got:

    Officeworks
    Cooling pad N100
    Webcam 200
    Clearstyle headset

    BigW
    2 x Black N215 mice

Both seem to have gone through fine

$130 of stuff for free… If it all works then yes!

  • The 3rd wouldn't work, sh!t

  • Can you claim 5 of the same item? or does each item need to be different?

    • +1

Yes 5 items (can be same items too) on one receipt will work.

      • ta…that's what i thought too…..but this guy (customer) was adamant I couldn't when I was at DSE and purchased 5 mice.

  • -7

Wooohoo friend let me submit it under his household. 10 items for me :)

    • +1

      where's broden?

    • Is that you Broden, are you multi-accounting as well? you know Ozbargain is like a freebie so may as well spam it too.

    PHONE CONFIRMATION:

Spoke to daniella from Logitech. She called me in regards to the second claim.

    1. Give a gap of 2 hours between each claim and it will go through. My 2nd one just went through.
    2. All claims/forms/invoices can be sent in the same envelope.
    • thanks for clarifying #2

  • Contacted Logitech just then and were told that each household can only claim one of each product NOT multiple of the same product.

As per Q12 in the FAQ page.
    b.only one (1) cash back claim permitted per Participating Product purchased;

    • call them again and talk to Daniella.

    • i think this is where the terminology gets confusing. i believe the interpretation is that you can buy multiples of the one item, say you buy 3 c200 webcam, and each item naturally can only be claimed once, ( i think this is what they mean by each item can only be claimed once) meaning you can't claim a single item over and over and NOT that you can only purchase one of each item to claim back

      • That was my interpretation too….if you can't have more than one of the same items, the online form would prevent more than one of the same products being claimed.

    • Doesn't make any sense. I was under the impression you can as long as they are on the same receipt and under the 5 item cap.

    • +1

"per Participating Product purchased"; "purchased" being the word of interest. It doesn't say that you can only purchase one per Participating Product.

Purchase 1 Participating Product, get one (1) cash back claim
Purchase 3 Participating Products, get three (3) cash back claims
      etc.

      • Ok let's go simple English for those who don't understand.

        U can buy 2 x M215mouse for $19 each and claim 2 x $19

        but u can't buy 1 x 215mouse for $19 and claim 2 x $19. That's what the toc is saying. 1 claim only per purchased product.

Some idiots might want to buy 1 mouse and claim for 5.

      • +2

They should make it more obvious on their website if thats the case.. i.e when filling in the online form, it allows you to input 5x of the same items.

    • I just called logitech to make sure and they said you can buy the same product, as long as it's up to five items

    • Very ambiguous wording. Bought two products. Hope they honor it, as they seem quite reputable about the promotion.

  • We can buy from small computer stores yeh? Like Umart at so forth???? Even though its not on the shop list we can just it as "other"? Just confirming.

    Cheers

  • -1

So if I buy 2 wireless desktop set, will one only have the cashback or both. Oh well, if it's only one, well I still got cashback on my other stuff

UPDATE FOR THOSE WITH SECOND RECEIPT TO CLAIM:

Logitech support (who seemed super helpful) said to wait TWO HOURS after your first submission, then do the second. It takes that long to validate the first, then you''ll be right to go.

Hopefully you won't have more than two receipts!

My second submission just worked! Thanks Logitech :)

  • urgh, went to submit my claim and it's saying my entry "was unsuccessful. You have already entered this promotion today." wtf, I just sat at my desk to submit the form and somehow I've already entered? Help desk told me to re-submit in 2 hours. I can only hope that all the $$ isn't used up by then :(. My friend who purchased straight after me is having the same problem. Dodgy.

    • +4

This promotion is going to end in tears if this continues :(

    • +2

Are you at work? has someone ubmitted under the same IP?

      • +2

I know of fellow workmates who have already claimed this morning but the thought of the same IP interfering didn't even enter my head. That's probably it then… C'mon Vodafail 3G, don't fail me now!

Edit: The IP address is the problem. Just lodged my claim with Vodafail 3G and it worked.

    • -1

Chadstone have their own pc's for internet so I claimed one there and then.

    • +2

JayM, it's probably because someone from your company has already claimed it. I think the Logitech Website tracks the IP address of your internet connection.

The same thing happened to me. I used my Iphone to process the claim, and it worked like a charm.

  • Jbhifi the strand in Sydney city has plenty of m250 left, got the last webcam though :p

  • -1

Can I use the email confirmation as the claim form. If not, where can I get the claim form again

    • +1

Yes, its the same as pressing the yellow button

  • This is nuts

  • +4

lol. ozbargain in meltdown. Tight asses out in force hitting the streets.

    • +1

That's what happens when you wave $300000 in front of a crowd of people.

  • just to confirm if i buy MK250/MK260 wireless combo and claim today then buy the M215 wireless mouse tomorrow - can i still claim that?

    fark its confusing everyone lol

    • yes, you just need to fill out the online form again

      • +1

and there need to be unclaimed money left over tomorrow

  • Has anyone confirmed whether it's okay to buy online from dicksmith or jb?

    • Direct from Logitech:
"Logitech Australia Yes, JB, HN etc online or in store is fine."

    • Both of them are in the "purchased from" drop down box.

      So YES

  • +2

    First $100,000 nearly claimed already.

    Ozbargained?

    • maybe but I suspect this is a situation where they expected a fast claim.

  • for all the people purchasing from DSE: all of my items had the model number (e.g. K200, M215 etc) except the cooling pad which simply says logitech cooling pad and leaves out the N100 - is this the same for everyone else? Hope they don't reject that item as it was $60!

    • Me too >.> It does have the DSE product ID though (XH1289). I think that'd be more reliable to compare their SKUs with than just a name.

    • should say N100, is saw the box the other day…

    • says Logitech cooling pad. Called Logitech, the claim will go through even if it seems highly priced :).

only the listed partipating stores are good though. stops a small shop owner selling one k200 for $300,000 to himself :)

  • Done my claim.
No Logitech mk250, webcams and I took the last N100 cooling pad (didnt see any N120) @ dick smith lidcombe

There were a few headsets, and the K200 keyboard. No mice either.

    nearly 90k claimed by 10:15am.

    • Could you help me with the Dick Smith Receipt? Which one is the receipt no? The one on the top or the the merch id? Thanks!

      • +3

Top Corner. Sale Number: the Number here

      • use your brain. What do you think "merchant ID" would mean? would "merchant ID" mean receipt number?

  • +7

lol, for where did you hear about this promotion, i put - OZBARGAIN!!!

    • so did I :)

      • +5

So did Broden - 896 times (once on each claim using dodgy proxies and IP's, addresses from phonebook and hotmail accounts made yesterday) :-)

        • same here! OZBARGAIN

        • Yep Ozbargain

  • for anyone who receive error "Your entry was unsuccessful. You have already entered this promotion today.”, just use another static IP.One IP can only used for one claim. we have proved that it will be working.

  • Did anyone find out if buying from jb hifi online is valid for this promo…I saw someone mention that their Facebook page allows that? Anyone have a phone confirmation yet?

    • and do we just send in a print out of the Paypal transaction?

  • +2

wow its only 10:30 and $100,000 has already been claimed. Good luck to all the cities that are affected by daylight saving.

  • if you dont want to wait the 2 hours, you can do one claim on your computer and another on a different ip address

  • I think this promo will be complete by lunchtime today.

  • anyone know what to submit? do I need to cut the barcodes?

i assume only printed form and original receipt.

    • yes both printed form and original receipt

      • correct, no need to cut barcodes

  • ok my turn to spam:

got my 4 items (MK250, C200, N100, Clearchat Style) @ OW got there at about 7:30 to pick it up after reserving it yesterday. The chick gave me 2 receipts. I also bought an M215 @ JB. The chick said she couldn't give me 2 receipts unfortunately. Anyways, lodged 2 separate claims and both went through. Will go to Aust post now and send both in the same envelope it via registered mail.

ps: OW chick said receipt number is last 6 digits under the bar code (I entered all 16 numbers though).. and the JB receipt number is the first set of 10 numbers on the bottom line where the time and date is.

    • 2 receipts?

      • …tax cheat…

        • lol or multiple claims for different addresses

      • lol nah just in case claim falls through.. i'll refund it (it might take longer than 30 days for logitech to return the original receipts)

        but thanks for the ideas!

    • well officeworks can do dup receipts… but if i'm not mistaken the staff are only meant to do dup receipts for internal purposes… so don't expect every staff to allow you to get a 2nd one… Anyhow the 2nd receipt will say "COPY" instead of tax invoice… so doubt you can use it as a tax cheat method…

  • -2

    .

  • do we need to send product barcode?

  • -1

    Success! Total claimed: $186.81

    Anyone hit $400?

    • I hit $137 all because of that overly priced n100 cooling pad, did anyone manage to get the n120? I cant find it anywhere…

      • Yeah. Got the last N100 in the store. Plenty of MK250 though, but I wasn't interested in that.

  • +1

Just to confirm…you're able to buy multiples of the same item?

    • Yes you can.

      • I don't think so but hopefully for my sake

    • you can buy multiples, but you will only recieve cashback for one of the same item. thats what they told me when i phoned….

      • That is not in the T&Cs.

        • yes, i know, the lady i first ranged at 9 am told me this, but I just called again and now it seems you can claim multiples of same items.

          but under TC 14(B)……

  • +1

I would've thought the highest is $299.75, considering the N100 cooling pad appears to be the most expensive at Dick Smith @ $59.95 each
