    Cheap easy family meal
    Spanish Chicken
Bake or fry Half a dozen sliced red onions and a sliced chorizo together . Cook until onion has gone clear and is sweet . The slower you go the sweeter it is .
Put chicken legs on the bed of cooked chorizo/Onion in the baking dish . I season the legs with a light touch of chicken stock powder .
Sprinkle with cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives , Bake until legs are cooked . Turn legs once while cooking .

Place onto a bed of rice .

FYI these chorizo are not the greatest but are fine especially at this price .

  • Not very good chorizos - far better ones from the markets for $10/KG (QVM, Jenkins). The RRP on these is laughable. If you want AWESOME chorizos, WR Kings at QVM (next to Jenkins) have the goods.

    • Downvoted for pointing out that food is not just poor quality but not even actually that cheap. Typical OzMorons - "But it's 50 percent off!"

Bought some last night. Worked out to be $0.98 per chorizo.

As for cooking, I like adding in a few chopped chorizo into a spaghetti bol to give it some kick. Quicker options are to just cut it in half lengthwise, fry it up and put into some bread to eat as a sausage. Make sure you save some of the chili oil from the frying pan to be dipped into by your bread. Yum!
