    By not specifying in the original post if it is one, or has two smaller drives in it.

      You can work that one out from the dimension specified by Officeworks - 36.6mm for D so 3.66 cm. It's unlikely Seagate can squeeze two 3.5 inch HDDs into the case with the dimension specified.

  It's most likely a single drive and potentially a dynamic SMR drive. If so, it would have a portion which uses CMR (so it can still have decent random read/write for commonly used files) and a large portion of it uses SMR.
  
  Unless the drive is 7200rpm or a helium filled hard drive, the chance of it being a dynamic SMR HDD at this size is quite high.
