I'm a simple man. i see SSD deal, i press like.

  • still falling hahah

check this one Intel 535 Series 360GB 2.5" SATA III 7mm Internal Solid State Drive SSD 540MB/s $75.65 Delivered @ Flash Pro eBay thread …much better more expensive

    • The Intel 535s are not that good, I have one.

      Huge problems with write amplification.

      • not fixed by 16 firmware update?

  • will this be 20% off tomorrow? ..

  • These SSDs are old… I have two of these in my gaming PC since… 2015? 16? And they were $77 then. Even $60 is cheap as hell. I never had an issue with mine.

    • in 2015-16 these would have been 120gb for 77$

I have 128gb version of this. Nothing special about it but it does it's job as an SSD. If you're one of those lads that re-sell laptops/desktops I recommend this heavily.

  • https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Western-Digital-WD-Green-240GB-2… $51 for this. It's faster.

    Item description
"Featuring sequential read speeds up to 540MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 430MB/s, WD Green solid state drives are super fast and compatible with most PCs. The free WD SSD dashboard lets you monitor your storage, and when combined with the 3-year limited warranty, upgrading your digital storage is worry-free."

  • Damn, missed 'em both. :(

SSDs are dropping all the time now, after having been stuck for a while. My guess is that they want to offload all the old/poor ones before beginning a major drop whereby the 256GB models form 'the new low'. Maybe even 240GB models will be gone too from all the branded line-ups.

If you're in the market, don't stress. Another deal will come along same day ;-)

  • most of these drives are using the older tlc technology hence the sizes that have the cheap deals and the foundries have good yields so they can make drives cheap.

it’s possible why we haven’t seen killer 1tb $per gb deals ….. 3d nand are going into things evo860, crucial mx500, etc. which command higher, prices and have higher performance …..

i think these older ssd drives might not be ultra fast buy much faster than an old spindle drive and for some on budget probably fir for purpose.

you will probabaly be replacing with bigger drives before you ever wear these out.
