Whilst I don't need any beans at the moment, I have never been let down by Manna Beans.

  • +1

Yay for some African beans! Is it me, or do you seem to get more South American beans?

    • WOHOO! Coffee Safari :) :) :)

We have lots of amazing Africa coffee beans, especially Ethiopia, but they can be a bit more polarizing so not always offered. Might offer more options in the future.

      Happy Caffeine Up!

Literally looking at all your beans yesterday and didn't see enough African love, which is my favourite. I've always been happy with the stuff coming from the Sidamo region. I haven't ordered for quite a while but looking forward to trying a blend I haven't tried before. Order inbound!

      • Thanx, welcome aboard! I have some more amazing 89-91 point Etiopians in stock and a load more on the boat! Some new experimental lots as well :) They are just a bit more unique in flavour and a bit more expensive as well which pushes them just outside of pricing viable regularly on these deals and also a bit more like Marmite haha

Either love them or hate them! Amazing for filter/long black and also espresso (require different roast profiles though to shine in each category) but more florally and fruity so not what evryone wants. The Brazilians and Colombians and some other central south Americans tend to be more chocolatey carmel and nutty so often preferred by the majority that drink milk base coffee.

This sidamo will be a medium roast enabling it to be enjoyed all round and should be less polarizing and still enjoyed as a milk coffee :)

Simon (just adding to Flora's comment above :))

Bummer just ordered this last week - Grant is not so great this time - LOL.

But seriously folks, get on this deal - great coffee and free tea yah!!!

    • Thanks for feedback :) 👍👍👍

      Boom Coffee ☕☕☕

      • boom coffee for the weekend???

  • Looking for a floral coffee for drip filter coffee. I normally have single origins from the better cafes and enjoy the floral flavours. Would you have any beans of the sort?

    • I have an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Autumn which is really intense floral and around 90 points. Great for a filter but will require a small batch custom roasted for you.

Welcome to order separately or tag onto order and leave notes regarding roast/brew preference ie filter) :)

  • Just on time with my last bag half empty!

    • Or half full!? haha

Ordering now and perhaps another order at the end of the promotion. Referring to all my coffee friends too.

    • +1

I think you desereve some medals for your hard work and caffeine fuelled promotion :) 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 Thanx

  • rep my last 2 orders had requests go ignored. how do i message you guys regarding swapping beans? i.e. swap lucky dip for more ethiopia or decaf domination?

    cheers

    • +2

Last deal was a busier than usual one so often just an automated generic email is sent out when people email coffee changes outsie of the offered listings as we prioritize roasting processing and getting coffee out to people asap.

Coffee change requests are welcomed but never guaranteed and in busier periods we may not have time to correspond backwards and forwards to these individual requests when we are innundated by them and they are not within the deal offering. This is why we have our high end or more expensive coffees that aren't viable at the Ozbargain procepoint avaiable via our standard website listings where we offer individual small batch roasts custom roasted to your requirements.

You are welcome to send the coffee request through for Ozbargain deals and the best way is actually to send funds(deal pricing) through Paypal to [email protected] which allows you to leave notes in Paypal with request. We'll always try our best where possible but can't guarantee :)

We have some amazing Ethipians in stock at the moment and will get more up on our site soon but these along with the decaf coffee due to the organic and swiss water nature of processing elevates cost and can often be too much for us to offer under deal pricings. Also we small batch roast so if not roasted at the time would require individual roasts by me to be able to be able to meet your request.

Hope you understand ;) Ultimately feel free to leave notes in Paypal or email but can't guarantee that service outside of offering. To guarantee the coffee you want you're welcome to tag on an extyra 250g or 500g etc to deal from our website listings though which would ship free anyway as over $50 and I'll perform a custom roast for you.

      Have a fantastic week ;)

      • I was looking to leave a note on to see if i can ask for certain teas in the lucky dip. But couldn't find the field to leave comments on paypal.. It's ok, let's give a shot on the tea department. My kidney and liver are trying to pump out so much caffeine…

        • @Andysjunks Paypal removed the ability to leave notes through the normal checkout button but can still be achieved if you use the "send funds" option to [email protected] This allows notes to be left and they get actioned whenever possible. Also helps the packing team this way rather than email :) Just advice for future orders

  • Awesome deal! Hopefully I don't get earl grey in the lucky dip!

    • +2

send funds through Paypal to [email protected] which allows you to leave notes in Paypal to that effect or you can shoot through an email and we'll always try our best where possible :)

The Paypal notes are better as they appear on packing slip and are easier to pick up on by packing team during busier periods

      • Left a note in PayPal last time and didn't receive the coffee types I wanted :(

  • Not having a go at you, but is the gunpowder green tea description meant to say "Story of gunpowder green" at the end? Seems like a note that got left in by mistake!

About your coffees - are they fair trade, or ethically sourced? I saw you donate to charity which is awesome.

EDIT: Oh yeah also, is there an option to not get any tea at all/swap the tea for something else? I love coffee, but can't stand tea.

Awesome beans. Always impressed with the quality and the speed in which the order arrives.

    • Thanks for your feedback and support! Appreciate the encouragement and glad to hear that people are enjoying their caffeinated beverages!

  • Always wanted to try these out but too bad I only drink 4-6 cups a week. No where near enough to keep them from getting stale :(

    • I only drink 7 large cups a week and I manage to get through the 4x480g bags before they go stale.

You should be able to get through the 2 x 480g deal, unless what you wanted was the Ethiopian/Brazilian beans.

Otherwise just up your consumption a little bit :)

      • Sure, you can send funds through Paypal to [email protected] $34.95 and please make sure you leave notes in Paypal for packing team regarding coffees :)

  • Nice deal!
Doesn't this deal wreck your just under 2kg weight limit postage?

    • +3

Yep but bought some 3kg express satchels outside of usual eparcel system :) It's actually cheaper than they charge us for 2kg lol

      • Nice :)
Do you think this deal will still be available on the 18th? Still working through my previous batch.

My order was on my doorstep when I got home yesterday (Friday) beside you saying…..

NOTE: Orders will be shipped out on Friday (29th Jun 2018) onwards.

Thought I was going to have to buy some supermarket coffee to keep me caffeinated over the weekend.

    • Phew, that was close!! 😋😋

  • Can you do 4x480 of Southern Mountains for $59.95. Bought this coffee last time and loved the flavour.

    • Should be fine :)Please use send funds feature through Paypal to [email protected] which allows for notes to be left. The notes are important so that packing team can action for you :)

      Cheers

Parcel arrived this morning in Melbourne. Couldn't resist my curiosity and opened the Kenya Kibkebe Black Tea. What an experience, never seen tea leaves in this shape before. Very clean and fresh tasting black tea.

    • Thanx for feedback. Yes the Kenyan was a favourite of mine and a more expensive tea :) Glad to hear you like it!

  • +2

Thanks @mannabeans got mine here in WA this morning, I’m not quite ready for the coffee yet but made a brew from the China Keemun and found it really good. Hopefully you will do more tea and coffee bundles in the future!

arrived first thing on Monday - shipped on Friday as promised…cant wait to get stuck into this batch!

    • Awesome, hope you enjoy!!

As a long-time fan and buyer of your coffee, I just wanted to say that your teas are also really nice! I hope you continue to offer a coffee-and-tea deal in the future, even if it does cost more, because I'll definitely be buying more =)

    • agreed - the earl grey is super fragrant!

      • I know right!! As an ex British Soldier I made a tea blend "For Queen & Country" and it was 80% English Breakfast and 20% Earl Grey ;)

    • Awesome, thanx for feedback. Shame I gave most of it away haha :)

  • Hey mannabeans, do you do decaf bags? Need one for the pregnant wife. Cheers

    • Certainly do, I have a great Colombian Tambo Decaf crop that is cupping around 85.5 and swiss water method. All decafs may still have a very small amount of caffeibe though maybe 1% or something so just to let you know in case she drinks like 20 espressos 😀😀😀

  • Hey friendly Rep,

    Could you clarify:
250g Empty valve resealable bags are available for $1 each from the drop down menu below.

I assume this is so you can reseal part of the individual bags while in use? Can you give me a rundown on usage of resealable bags and # that would be appropriate?

    Cheers

    • +1

Yes they have a strong resealable opening so that you are able to break coffee down further to re gift, share with a friend etc They are a 250g craft outing and foil inner with a valve to allow the coffee beans to release co2 and degas

  • I have ordered my 2nd batch of this deal and the tea (and coffee) is fantastic!!!

I have been ordering coffee from Manna Beans for the last few years and never once has there been a problem.

I really hope this tea deal continues into future deals!!!
