Nothing. Just uncheck auto top up when activating the sim and it should just be a one off $4.90.
OK maybe badly worded on my part. Assuming you don't uncheck auto top-up, what is the ongoing monthly charge (e.g. $19.90, $29.90 etc)?

You should have jumped on it last month, 99c for same thing, then the year packs were up to 40% off. But yes, for $5 it's a good way to test it

If I have a current active service with Kogan Mobile, can I still purchase one of these and activate it with my details but a new number and be considered a "New Customer"? Or can you not have any active service/account with Kogan Mobile for these?

I'm in the same situation.. I'm on 365 days plan, and want to have 2 more sim cards for family members.
Guys, new customer = new number/service. You can have multiple of these sim cards new, but you wont get it if you are renewing.

I don't think the voucher is still valid, but you could try and see how you go.
Make sure you double check the correct expiry date as I purchased a few of the XL codes that expired 20/7 but towards the end of the deal I saw expiry 31/7/2018 so I grabbed one more ( think they did not get posted or mentioned here ).
Are you considered "new" if you've previously been with Kogan but moved to another provider. Kids are with Catch at the moment but I move them whereever is cheapest. They were with Kogan 2 months ago.
oh! I just had the "you've been on kogan before" talk when trying to port back in as a new customer after 30 days on vodafone. seems they're onto us.
The voucher wasnt working for the port in, because of the existing customer of 30-40 days rule, that's why I called the helpdesk.
After the talk they ported my number in. It only took 13 minutes. and I changed my first name too easy, it matched another form of ID though.
It's been a good run, I've been a new customer 11 times ($34) in 18 months, and isn't that point of pre-paid, it's a month by month proposition.
Misleading title: the offer is only valid for the first month then you pay I think around $30-40 I forgot exactly buy not $4.90 for sure!
Also be careful check you online account and you will see that an auto recharge was automatically set for you so call Kogan mobile and delete it if you don't need.
