Why flybuys bits are in bold? Hurting my eyes…

  • Damn I really should close my Coles and re apply when there is promotion running like this.

but you would lose out on the old shoppers protection

      • what's the difference between old and new policy.

        • Old one is with Latitude finance, 2 year price protection mainly, 6 month merchandise and stolen card protection. Didn't read up on the new one as much but IIRC a much smaller PP.

Since moving to Citibank the online portal is crap.

Citibank also deliberately don't tell you the full balance payable on front page. You need to go to the next page to find this

    • its also 10 times slower than before. unbearable to use

    • And to show the pending you have to click and wait for another screen, 28Degrees just shows the pending with a grey background, much better because you have all together.

    • Ye I dunno who worked on the UI/UX for the new portal. Its shite! The old portal was archaic but was more functional than this one.

Those conditions to get the $50 off are pretty onerous and aren’t worth it IMHO.

  • I got this offer in an email too, but I don't think it's worthwhile for most people. $1500 in one month is ~$50 per day, or ~$350 per week. We spend much less than that for our total grocery buy, and that is to feed four adults. Maybe if you have six or more family members it would work, but not for four.

It doesn't necessarily have to be at Coles, if you charge other expenses to the card, this should still count (e.g. paying a bill usually counts as a retail purchase).
