    So finally got it delivered today - now only need to find a cheap pump :-\

    Does any one know if there's a kit for bicycle pump to be used with soccer ball ?

      most cheap pumps come with a needle for inflating balls - think i got one for $3 or $4 from kmart or big W last year, works fine, did this soccer ball anyway.

        GST on what? The ball was a giveaway!
        Even if it was priced $2 , it was a promotion - you wouldn't normally be able to buy the balls at this price in the original nation.
        Furthermore, it's very likely that the promotion was only supposed to be valid in the original nation, since it was in conjunction with the press there, as part of a celebration of that nation's success in the World Cup.

    I got mine today. I read that they've got an NFC chip in them (https://www.soccerbible.com/performance/football-equipment/2…) - anyone tried to connect it to their phone? I can't figure it out.

    It also has a little nick in it, like someone wasn't careful with their box knife when they opened the box :-( I figure a little superglue over it will keep it together, it's not very big.

        Ball is delivered in a black plastic pouch, prob not that hard to figure out what it is if the van's full of them.

        Delivery guy actually said, "been delivering heaps of these $1 footballs moight!"

    Has anyone noticed that the ball loses pressure abnormally fast? The ball is flat 2 weeks after being pumped.

      Nothing over here like that, have you noticed any sort of hole in the ball at all which could be pushing air out? Might be worth taping over the blow up hole if that's the issue.

        If sydgun has a big enough bucket. They can inflate the soccer ball. Put in bucket and fill bucket with water. Then proceed to squeeze the ball to see if it shows a hole in the ball where air is escaping.
