    I have an account at Sports Direct but can't log in through the app. (Keeps telling me username / password are incorrect yet they are fine when I use my laptop).
    Do I need to create a new account that matches the email address I use for Google Play? I've never bought anything using an app before!

        I just got a receipt from Sports Direct for £0.99 GBP. Checked my Paypal activity & they have charged me £12.99 GBP one 1 order & £0.99 GBP on a second!

          @sam buster: Only the one confirmation email for £0.99 GBP. And, Paypal just one for £12.99 GBP. Go figure… I dunno how that even works when Paypal has the 2 different charges but sends me the one email for £12.99 GBP.

          @simiot: Ah. So you got a 99p email from Sports Direct, but 13 Quid from Paypal.
          Sounds a bit like when I buy from eBay with a promo code, sometimes I get an email from one source stating the full price but the other source gives the discounted price.
          That always causes me a few anxious hours until the transaction shows up on my PayPal account.
          Hopefully it's just a similar thing in this case.

          @sam buster: Its strange to have the 2 payments in my Paypal activity. I have never seen this before. Promo code or not, it shouldn't state 2 different payments in Paypal. Sports Direct are not affiliated in any way, & no sight is. A payment statement is what it is on Paypal.
