Crudo Prosciutto around 125g/$0.79 ($6.30 per 1Kg) @ Coles

810

Made in Australia from at least 95% Australian ingredients.
Could be the price error.
Guess should be $6.30 each/125g but not $6.30 for 1KG.
Similar items but only 100g as below shows the correct price:

    Love prosciutto.

    • How does it taste like?

      • +3

        Like prosciutto - tasty Italian dry-cured ham🐷

      • Salty, then sweet and savory

      • Tastes like chicken

      • Taste like big sausage.

  • Sorry no results have been found for 'Crudo Prosciutto' & link goes nowhere😢
Another Coles per kg pricing error.

  • +3

I'd love to find it for this price.

Definitely not Italian. Italians call it Prosciutto Crudo 😜

    • +1

That's what it shows on the pack - Prosciutto Crudo.
Just lost in translation on Coles & PriceHipster systems😀

FYI, our OzBargainers have been successfully ordered pricing error items previously. Don't hesitate, before the pricing error is rectified.

Thanks OP, they are honoured. I got 21 packs, the mountain ash wood ham is out of stock

    • How do you get around the 12 pack limit?

      • +1

It's able to order more than the limit last time, but not in this time. 😂

    • +1

And other orders (for hams) were cancelled. Coles claimed out of stock, yet stores had stock at full price. I missed out😭

Best of luck. Not showing at my location.

Min 50$ each transaction. And I don't really plan to buy anything else for now….

  • dang when i log in, it's gone ;(

  • +1

Out of stock after I found stuff to make up $50 :(

  • it's gone now

  • San Danielle is one of the best you can find but is about $50 kg. It's less salty in taste.

How to get cancer on discount? Processed meat is officially labelled as a Grade A carcinogen (next to tobacco).

I think you arrived too late for this party😱
The Prosciutto lovers have left to enjoy their lovely tasty treat.

The risks of some preservatives etc used in processed meats have been widely acknowledged. This has been known for years. People should be aware of the risks. But placed in the same category does not mean the same risk - you choose to oversimplify that!

Prosciutto is one of the most expensive processed meats. In it's original small village production, it is a fantastic food. The fat layer naturally preserves the tasty meat.

Factory produced manufactured sausages, bacon etc may be better targets to try next time! The production involves some riskier preservatives. Some of those were originally added to stop people dying from eating rancid meat!

See you at the next school & Bunnings sausage sizzles! I definitely won't be eating.

Is this online or in store please help me ASAP and I mean right now.

  • +1

Still available just won't do it because don't need 50$ worth of things at the moment.

  • These products are currently unavailable :(

  • I ordered 20 packs yesterday with pickup at Bondi Junction Westfield.

Went there today and only got 10 packs (3 normal and 7 substitutes).

    • Do they charge you the normal price for substitute ?
I got 5/20 but didn't opt for substitute incase they charged me the difference

      • +1

They charged me the normal price, I just them an email about it with a copy of their conditions on substitutes:
"Substitute items are charged at the lower of the original or the substitute price".

They replied with a coupon of the price difference.

        • great thanks, for these price errors, i'll allow substitution next time!

  • Sorry no results have been found for 'Crudo Prosciutto'

Maybe it's only available at certain stores or states?

  • Looks like its available at my store (Albany Creek), but is click and collect no longer free? Coles wants to charge me $3 for click and collect, AND no bagless shopping options so 15c per bag. I am not sure I'll bother spending $50 just to buy this prosciutto…

To put an end to this nonsense : checked Coles Pacific Fair, Gold Coast. Full bloody price of $6 something.
Funny thing: Coles Q Super Center (Mermaid Waters) did not have the product at all. Full product line in Coles Pacific Fair.
Go figure … we are one Coles but we are many???
    ;-P

  • Ordered and delivered. Thanks OP
