Woolworths Online 4.5% Cashback (Was 2.5%) @ Cashrewards

1590

Hi all. We've been given an increase by Woolworths for the next three days which we'd like to pass on to our members. There is no minimum spend requirement and is available to all (new & existing) Woolworths Online shoppers. Offer ends 11:59pm AEST Tuesday. As always, thank you kindly for your continued support of Cashrewards. Enjoy :)

Purchase 5% discounted WISH Gift Cards and stack for further savings. You’ll also get free entries in our weekly Spend & Win Competition for every $100+ card purchased. Good luck!

A small education piece:

Please always ensure your last click before purchase is from Cashrewards. Simply click Shop Now and complete your shopping without leaving the Woolworths site. A lot of untracked claims come from the fact members have other tabs open and/or are using Google or comparison sites to review their product/s before purchase. All cashback/rewards sites work off a simple principle - last click. The winning affiliate is always the one that receives the last click. Also turn off any AdBlock/uBlock/Ghostery as well as Safari (mobile and/or desktop) Cross-Site Tracking.

    • Not with the expired ones :-b

  • Does anyone know if you can also stack with bonus rewards points offers? Cheers

    • +4

You can stack with rewards offers if they include online purchases. Be careful as the offers they’ve been sending out recently have been for in store purchases only.

      • gee you are right - all in-store only. Getting tight.

  • +1

Do u have to pay for compulsory plastic bag surcharge online?

    • That only starts tomorrow.

      • +3

It's been in for a couple of weeks. I've had to pay it twice, even though I'm supposed to get free delivery because I have paid for a delivery saver. I'm currently chasing via fairtading

Ah, I thought this was 4.5% cashback on e-gift cards. Now that would have been amazing.

Ever since I discovered that you can load e-gift cards on to Google Pay life has become so much sweeter.

    • How do you do that?

Do you mean just saving the card details onto the Google pay app?

    • Pls share how to reload the e-gift card on the google play,

      • +1

        Pay no play

    • Let us know how this work please

      • +1

Its the same way you add a credit card but add gift card instead. Pretty self explanatory.

        • +4

Does it allow you to pay with the gift card using the app rather than punching in the numbers? That would be great, but unless it does the WW Money app is more useful.

    • +2

Isn't using Woolworths' Money app better as it shows you actual balance and provides you the latest 10(?) transactions?

      • Yes, the money app is far better.

      • Used to show them all, not sure why they took that away. You can still use the online service to see the whole list but it's a bit of a pain.

A lot of untracked claims come from the fact members have other tabs open and/or are using Google or comparison sites to review their product/s before purchase.

Can confirm this is true. Price Hipster doesn't get much commission because people then use Cash Rewards. 😋

  • Could someone clarify the stack process.

So 5% off wish gift cards

Then use that on Woolworths gift cards for 4.5% and still get cash back on the gift cards used?

    • +1

Think you buy gift cards at 5% off from cash rewards. Then buy stuff on Woolworths online using the gift cards after clicking the cash rewards link that open Woolworths online.

      • Think you sound correct :-)

      • +4

Misleading title then. Right now, it sounds more like you can get an extra 4.5% cashback on buying eGift which is already 5% off, when in fact eGift is just a payment method and you can get the discounted eGift from other sources (eg. Entertainment Book).

  • Noob question here regarding the 5% off Woolworths EGift Cards mentioned above in listing from Cashrewards, you can purchase just fuel also at Caltex/Woolworths?

I see it states the below, but just making sure.

"Double up with additional savings such as petrol vouchers and cashback where applicable."

    • How do you stack on fuel?

      • I think you can stack/double up on savings if you purchase these Woolworths Wish Cards through Cashrewards and then use a Woolworths 4C per litre off Petrol Voucher ( need to spend over $30 @ Woolwoths to get one ).

As long as you can pay with these for fuel, that's what I want confirmed also.

Hot tip / always pay 10 cents by PayPal or CC to avoid annoying store codes as credit for unavailable items

    • I've found with mixed payments that they just split the refunds so you end up with part PayPal/CC refund part store credit but you can request they convert the store credit to eGift cards. Takes a little time but it works.

      • I've had this done done for me too, but it was more like a couple of weeks of increasingly angry emails back and forth before they finally did it.

        • Not quite so bad for me though it wasn't clearly explained to me so it threw me when I got the usual code though it was labelled as in store credit. Supposedly cancelled when they issued the eGift card. Took about 1.5 days though they told me up to 2 business days (well the third person I spoke to finally gave me that bit of the puzzle)

        • @GaryG: mine was maybe a year ago now; maybe they've got better at dealing with it. The store code is annoying, less flexible than the egift card.

  • +2

How does the click and collect work now? Do I have to pay for however many bags they charge me?

    • The bag surcharge is a flat rate of $1 for C&C or free if you shop today.

      • That would negate 1% of my discount in typical shopping basket..grr

        • I hear if you ask nicely to use your own bags you get your $1 back.

I made an online Woolworths purchase last night and the Cashrewards system only gave me 2.5% rebate. What gives?

    • +2

The increase started today (Sunday) at 9:20am, so your 2.5% is spot on if you shopped yesterday.

  • Is there a maximum limit?

  • 9.28% discount on giftcards effectively. das it mayne.

    • +1

9.275% discount on what you buy online at Woolies, cannot buy gift cards

  • Was testing the Woolworths Online since I haven't made any purchases yet but I have a stack of egift cards.
Tried applying the egift card which causes the final balance to be $0.
Won't let me process the order since it's at $0 but the Woolworths eGift Card App shows -$30 "HomeShop"
Not finalised (no emails - no invoice - no active orders). Does it just expire or I'll have to contact Woolworths to get this fixed?
Do I need to make a purchase where the gift card doesn't cause it to be $0 final balance?

    • +1

you should just patch in the credit card and submit, it will show $0 and credit card would not be charged.

in your situation, you should live chat or call wooloworths online to get $30 refund.

      • Called them up and they gave me $30 in coupon which is kinda annoying.
I made a purchase again for $30 but they wanted $1 in reusable bags so I paid with egift card.
My cashrewards wasn't on so I cancelled the order.
Got an email with a refund coupon of $31

I tried using the original coupon of $30 and it worked.
Also applied the new coupon of $31 and also worked!

        This can't be right

        • Didn't work the 2nd cancelled order.
Both 1st and 2nd coupon now says $0 but the latest refunded coupon still shows up $61 so I got $30 free somewhere in there

  • how long does it take for giftcard to arrive email. It's been 6 hours since i made the purchase

  • On my reading of the terms I don't think that you can use gift cards to pay and still get the 4.5% cashback. I am happy to be corrected.

    • +2

Hi Peck. 100% OK to pay with WISH gift cards. We encourage it :)

Pre-purchase WISH Gift Cards at a 5% discount and use them in conjunction with Woolworths Online Shop cashback to save even more.

      • +2

Thanks TA, I like your work. I should pay more attention. Happily corrected. Now where is my specials catalogue? :)

  • Just realised, you have to buy from woolworths online to get 4.5% cashback. I thought I could get extra 4.5% cashback from the amount I pay to buy the e gift card. Oops! Otherwise would have been awesome.

Hi ssmith3104. I'm the one that responded to your ticket. As I explained, the offer went live at exactly the time this deal was posted. You're asking Cashrewards to pay the higher rate on shopping you made 4 hours prior to the increase because you assumed the deal was already active for 12-24 hours (quote). Do you believe this is fair, and that the deal deserves a neg because of an error you made?

    • +2
  • 4.5% is rather good.

  • I placed an order, picked it up yesterday afternoon. Complained about the $1 charge and got it refunded and given a 540g box of Cadbury's favourites for the inconvenience.
