Absco Premiere Shed 3x 3 Matt Black $399 Delivered from SimplySheds

171

Was looking around for a 3 x 3 shed in bunnings and was going to buy it for $499 as I thought it was a very good price for the size. Then i searched online and found this deal.

$399 delivered was $679 @ simplyshed.com.au

Colour is black so probably not a popular colour given the heat it will attract. But still a very good price for absco shed.

  • Cheap as cheaply made! would always recommend spend more and save a lot of arsing about when it comes to assembling a shed…

I got a smaller shed and it has the worlds easiest shed to put together tag as it has click to together parts etc

What a F’IN nightmare it was!!!

Half the holes did not line up meaning we had to redrill etc etc and this was a small shed, this one would be a absolute killer

I did get a anchor kit and lock with my shed as a bonus which came in handy

They sell the same ones at Bunnings too but I found this site cheaper but be aware, apart from the nightmare above, it took 2 months plus for delivery!!!

      • Have to agree with putting together cheap sheds. We built a 3x3 shed we picked up on eBay for $500 6 years ago. Holes didn't line up etc etc.. Was a pain and took quite a while to get it all finished, but it's still standing all this time later and we've had some pretty strong winds over the years.

IMO if you've got some time to put it together properly they can turn out to be decent sheds.

Yer mines together now and is great but the worlds easiest shed it is not

Simply Sheds are simply disastrous. My order was lost in transit!
Then when finally located and delivered, as Twisty has mentioned, a f#@*ing nightmare to assemble.
      Seemingly quality control/assurance is non-existent.

    • I put one of these up on the weekend. I assembled all the panels single handed and needed one person (two or three would have been better, I had to use stakes and bracing timbers get the the first three sides) to assist with final assembly.

This model is much easier than others I've done. The panels go toghether very easily. The ease of panel costruction is a two edged sword as the final construction is with the full sized panels. But this is preferable to models where the wall panels are slid into installed channels and you have to "click" the panels together with finnicky tabs and slots.

All the holes lined up but few weren't punched out, so good to have a second power drill when assembling.

Most of the way these appear cheaper than ones from Bunnings is that they don't include an anchor kit. Most (all?) of the ones I looked at from Bunnings when I was looking for an extra shed at mine all came with the anchor kit.

Simplysheds charge another $54 for the anchor kit, so have to take that into account if you do need one.

  • July is title improvement month.

    • In future, please mention the store/retailer in the title

That's been fixed. Moderators and power users spend time fixing titles throughout the day and any help is appreciated. Thanks for posting!

Ok sorry about that. Will do in future!

I assembled a 3x2m shed with a friend cos I didn't want to pay the extra $150 (this was 10 years ago).

Took the 2 of us 8.5 hours.

    We are still friends.

Stafford Bunnings had these and gave me a price match +10%

Good luck assembling it. We purchased one of these exact sheds about a year ago and it came in a box so small I wasn't sure it was the right product. Many hours later (maybe 7-8 in total) we managed but I'd suggest asking a few friends over because it's very difficult to screw the wall panels together and you'll probably find a few holes that won't line up…..

They say assembling IKEA furniture is a good test of any relationship - one of these sheds is that x10.

  • Heads up for those that are 6' or wanting to use shelves that are the same height - the gable peak is 2m, check the wall height/top of door height. Mine comes in at 175cm, so have to duck walking into it and had to cut the back uprights of the 180cm shelving units so they could go up against the walls.

  • Recommend banging in a few star droppers etc to hold it in place to get started. In my case we clamped 2 sides to the clothes line to get it started. From there, not too bad.

  • Bought a Keter shed and it took me less than 3 hrs to assemble on my own. The parts are light enough for one person to move around.
