ALDI at Leichhardt have about a dozen 4ah Xfinity batteries marked down from $39.99 to $27.99, also some quick chargers marked down from $19.99 to $13.99. They're also some 2ah batteries selling for $20. Not listed on their web site, I assume they're getting rid of old stock before this Saturday's Special Deal. They seem to be selling quickly. Cheers

  i bought a 2AH aldi battery on clearance and put the cells into a makita battery shell bought from aliexpress for $8 delivered

    would this work if we replace a Ni-MH battery pack with these?

    My old cordless drill is dead and the replacement Li-ON battery is too expensive
    that I might as well get a new aldi drill with Ni-MH

    Are these easy to get out of the Aldi unit. I tried transplanting a Ryobi battery, from an original where the shell was damaged, but was heavilly soldered, clamped etc. I found this one at AliExpress

  Thanks OP, I grabbed two and there were lots chargers still on stock but only two or three batteries left.

  Aldi (Broadway Store) has 1/2 price Li-ion battery pack and Li-ion charger. Battery pack 4Ah was $39.95 now $20.00. Battery charger was $19.99 now $10.00. Seems that only a few Aldi have this stock still available' so that is why clearance, 50% off price.Not available Marrickville or Canterbury Aldi.
