          Weird thru the link here i get a "you are not authorised" message. On my phone i get "5000 sold you have reached the end" message and can go no further yet my wife gets the same message on her tablet but if she clicks on the $ amount instead of the Buy button she gets thru.

    Wow. Amaysim must be getting a bit desperate for customers. I agree with baxo. Could you really trust them after this scandal with the electricity rip off. And 1gb data wouldn't last me a week.

    I purchased the Groupon voucher last week and got the $2 starter sim from a retail store. Ported my number to amaysim successfully but couldn't apply the promo code. The support staff told that the promo code is only applicable if the sim was ordered online from amaysim. I'm in a catch 22 as I'm no longer a new customer and if I order the sim online again. The $10 dollar monthly plan is still good enough…

      Order a free Telstra SIM and then port your number to Telstra. Then port back to Amaysim with different email address. You should be able to use the Amaysim SIM from the Groupon deal that they are sending you and not have to wait for another SIM to arrive.

        ozengineer didn't order a sim online. And I belive that the sent sim card is linked to the order.

        When you login into your account to activate it just says "Activate sim/port", no process to enter sim number.

        But yeah, port out then order the Amaysim, applying the groupon voucher is before or the same process step as adding a payment method.

          Oh you are correct. Looks like what I suggested will not work for ozengineer. Ozengineer, I'd chat with Amaysim again and see if they can somehow make it work for you. In the past some people have managed to use a $2 SIM they bought to activate a deal this way.

          @Rodo: That's exactly what I did. Port out to Telstra using a free sim delivered. Ordered a new Amaysim mobile service using the Groupon code. Instead of waiting for the free sim to activate, (via live chat) used a retail sim I already had to activate the service.

    To use the groupon deal, I ported out from Amyasim to Kogan and then ordered a new sim using the groupon voucher (used the port my number option). I used the same email address which was associated with the amaysim number which I ported out to Kogan. I was counted as a new customer as I have instructed to port back to Amaysim.

    whats the quickest, easiest, cheapest way to port out of Amaysim so you can port back in for this deal?
    The Kogan and Telstra free sims are great but take time to arrive. Ideally i buy a $2 sim from coles/woolies which doesnt need a recharge to become active

      Use the $1 Kogan 23GB Prepaid SIM from 2 weeks ago, then use your Amaysim number and port out. Takes a few hours to do. Then port back into Amaysim with this deal.

      Cheapest and quickest would be getting a Telstra SIM. Costs nothing and for me if I ordered before 3pm (I think) then you can get it that day. Then transfer to Telstra. Then sign up to Amaysim as a new customer. Takes a few days for SIM to be sent out so if you don't sign up for any Telstra plans then you might not be able to make phone calls and use internet during this time.

    I always have trouble with porting. I bought the deal and followed the steps on the groupon site. I created an account with Amaysim. My Sim has arrived. However when i log into the Amaysim account to complete the porting, no mobile services are listed. Its empty. Am i missing a step?
