Your response (facetiously I believe) assumes a dichotomy where the 'foot' element must either refer to how the ball is played OR whether the player plays on their feet or on horseback. This does come up as a serious argument though on occasion.
Zqipz response merely points out that the notion of 'foot' and 'hand' prior to 'ball' doesn't only and shouldn't be considered to only refer to how the ball is played.
We see via your facetious example, that 'foot' and 'hand' are sometimes used to refer to how the ball is played, and via the various relevant codes of football, sometimes used as a delineation between games and sports that did or did not involve horses. Applying either historical reasoning where it does not apply leads to absurd outcomes but the fault is not in the names of the games but in incorrectly applying the wrong historical reasoning when many are possible.
In any case, most people of sufficient maturity don't feel the need to limit themselves to one code of football, or one sport in general.

If I ask for no salt on the patty, do they than have to cook my patty fresh instead of use one from the warmer?
I always like to get my meat cooked fresh and don't mind waiting but many times I ask and they say yes but when I eat it it's not.

If its still the same as when i worked there they should cook a new one. The salt is usually applied on the grill before taking it out onto the warmer

Best way is to just ask for it fresh, if it’s still not fresh ask for it to be made again. Asking for no seasoning should get you a fresh patty but still not guaranteed and imo it tastes way better with the seasoning.
Seasoning makes all food taste better. Still remember watching the first ever season (lol) of Survivor and the contestants were fighting over salt, pepper and garlic to put in their food.
