    Just signed up without any issues and cancelled it straight away and it's still active until 12/10.

    https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions and select Manage to cancel.

        I had a GP sub when they decided to make ad free Youtube separate .. called YT Premium now. I got the YT Prem free back then.

        When i re subbed last night they didnt give me YT P.
        There is an option to upgrade to it with $

      GP also comes with YouTube red and does provide ad free YouTube. :)

        I really like the free YouTube Music app that also comes with it. I use this the most.

        Not anymore.

        I had it before, but cancelled while I tried a couple of other services.

        When I restarted my GPM subscription I only got YouTube Music to go along with it. YouTube Red is gone and I need a separate subscription for YouTube Premium.

        I’ll cancel after this month as I was only planning to subscribe again because you got ad free YouTube as well as GPM. If it’s only music then other services like Spotify and Deezer are better.

          Funnily enough, there was a popup box to upgrade from GP music to YT P.
          It says cost $3 but then the grand total was 30 cents lol

          you're right, it was pro-rata'ed with billing date of 15 July
          $3 per month normally

          when I cancelled YTP, the cancellation email says I have it till October, fingers crossed!

      If you do your youtubing on desktop, adblock plus will block all the ads anyway. Won't work on mobile unfortunately.

    Strangely, Bitdefender blocks the JBL website. Odd.

    I've been using GP paid for a year, VERY satisfied.
    Youtube no ads, offline playback.
    Youtube Music, was just launched (Youtube with music only).
    Google Play music.

    I've gotten so used to it, I used someone's phone the other day with no youtube premium and it reminded me that Youtube has ads.

    If you use android and want no ads, background playback, offline playback, audio only, check out the Newpipe players available on fdroid. there's no going back.
