  Yeah im in the exact same boat, im looking for a decent pair under $30 (not a great pair, but better than the 1-2 cheapos currently in my price range). Otherwise I guess ill just head on over to fluidtek and pick up a pair of Z320s for $35 (which are selling at $60 at LTS).

    The Logitech X-230 are probably a good choice for me but for $70 I'd rather shop around. Shopping Square had them for $51.95. The main criteria for my choice is that I want volume knob on the front of speaker not some wired remote to clutter up the desk.

does anyone know the advantages of a bluetooth receiver over a wireless receiver or vice versa?

  Wireless generally requires a dongle, where as bluetooth will work with your laptop or pc's built-in bluetooth or single bluetooth dongle.
  
  Not sure if the unifying products are bluetooth or not, they all share a tiny leave in usb dongle.

    thanks, the mx5500 uses bluetooth, apparantly it comes with a bluetooth reciever? as stated on the website. if you are correct, I assume it is only for the people using a desktop?

      Yeah, the receiver is for use if you don't have a bluetooth capable computer.
      
      It might come in handy to act as a bluetooth on another computer if you ever need it :)

  It is a relatively basic model compared to the higher end models, eg. Harmony One, however for the price it aint too bad and you can afford to buy a few as spares.

    Ive got the Harmony One, bought it for $250 a couple of years back - Id recommend this, after a few hours configuring all your devives, you wouldn't need "a few spares" :D

  i got the 600, its a pretty ok remote and even though its not colour, its all good - does what its intended for and i'm pretty satisfied with the remote :)

  I am quite happy with it. It does what it is intended to do. the best thing is , you can configure it according to your needs too from the computer.

    i've sent an email. yes i have received my order number and payment confirmation. everything is how it should be on my end. one email from logitechshop confirming order and one from paypal saying i've paid.
    hopefully its just my bank taking a while to update (but usually it is instant)

      If you have linked your bank account with paypal, it takes time, as it is echeque. normally 2-3 days.
      
      Link your debit card, and the payments are instant from visa or mastercard.

  I got those for that same price from the LTS many months ago, and am happy with them…! I like the knob where you can lower the volume or switch it off quickly! Very useful for when someone calls you up and you can't hear a word they're saying over the phone ^.^
  —-ETA: I got them for my pc, as I usually just wear a headset when I game or chat on skype whilst on my gaming laptop!

Hot damn I am tempted by the G27 wheel… Of course, I made a promise to myselfto stop spending so much money on videogames. :(

I just know that if I end up buying that, I would go out and buy Gran Turismo 5, then i'd think I'd need a racing cockpit/wheel stand, I'd play it vigorously for a week, then it will all go into the closet for another 5 years.

I really want to like this deal from LTS, but I got burned last time.
I ordered two PS3 guitars from LTS with free shipping.
After a week my order was cancelled as they couldn't ship to the NT (metro) for free, even though there was nothing in the deal that said free shipping* (*except certain areas). I emailed them offering to pay for the shipping, but no response - order cancelled - sad :(.
Please LTS, don't let me down this time. I need my axe.

    I guess I'm calm now because it was three months ago. I was really annoyed at the time, but by the time the order was cancelled, comments had closed.
    No order update yet, so I'm hopeful, but not optimistic.
    I don't want to make a big fuss, I just want my gear like everyone else.

Just picked up the Squeezebox Duet. Thanks guys. Add to that the 2 x Harmony One's and 600 I grabbed a few weeks ago at your last sale and it's been an expensive start to the year.

I'd actually grab one or 2 Squeezebox Boom's as well if they were on special again. I remember last year when you had them at 2 x $249. How about you do that again for a loyal customer? :D
