  • Is this grey import? 100% warranty through Apple Australia?

    • 256gb x for under $1.4k. It’s way to cheap to be local stock.

      • +24

        $1.4k. It’s way to cheap

There's something I never thought I'd read about a phone.

        • It’s a smartphone for many and a tool for others.

One could always claim an input tax credit and the rest as an expensive.

    • +6

      Hi dangerdanger,
No it is not a grey import, as mentioned in the post already it is Australian stock so you'll 100% get warranty through Apple Australia for the iPhone X and Samsung Australia for the S9/S9+. Thanks

      • +1 for helping us spending our tax refunds.

        • +1

          I wish I got a $1200 tax return :(

        • +2

          @JohnnyP:

It means you are paying the correct amount of tax throughout the year.

        • Yeah it was very hard to quench off all those stuck tax refunds.

  • iPhone X getting old now? New iPhones soonish?

    • +10

Yes mid September usually. Rumours are the x will be replaced with a an iphone 9 (yeah I know!) redesigned oled 5.8 inch, 6.5 inch and an LCD 6.1 inch all with an even more powerful A12 SoC. The 6.5 inch is rumoured to have a triple lens and will cost you your first born. No credible rumours on an SE2, which is disappointing.

Thing is though, this is a very good price for an X, maybe what would have been more acceptable in the first place, but Apple hasn’t had any trouble selling them, so the market spoke.

    • A week after a phone releases, people start talking about waiting for the next one. The X will last 4-6yrs+ no problems, so no, it is not old.

      Simplistic thinking really

  • TRS for 2 people legally. Or one adult one child.

    • Why?

      • $900 limit for tax free goods into the country.

        • +1

When you bring it back in, it is counted as a used item. The general rule that is known amongst travelers, which has been quoted several times, is 30% depreciation, making a $1176 iPhone only worth $823 upon reentry. That puts it under the threshold.

        • so does this mean i cannot claim iphone x?

  • Hey OP.
    Great pricing.
What is this (UNBRANDED) mean in the phone Links??

    • I would guess it is carrier branding.

    • +1

It means this product does not have any network/carrier branding. ie, no pre-installed carrier apps etc.

  • Hey op. Can confirm stock levels of iPhone X 256? I wanted to send one to my ms but had to arrive in WA by end of week.

    • Handling time
Usually sent within 1 business day after receipt of cleared payment.

Whoops. Someone will be in trouble. Someone forgot to PRICE JACK.

  • This seems too good to be true. Really good price for the X … I wish I had not bought it but I have no regret because I simply love the phone and its camera!

PS. I do regret about the price now :(

  • Omg thanks OP. I was waiting for more iPhone 8 64GB stock since you sold out before I could decide :( I kept looking for an iPhone X during this deal, but no one had any at the start of the PROXY discount… Thanks!!!

  • Bought iphone x and used cash rewards maybe i get 1% back thanks OP

    Any iPhone 8 Plus deals?

  • I'm so tempted to grab the Samsung…

  • Go the s8+. $250 cheaper and pretty much the same phone if you don’t care too much about the camera/ finger print scanner

    • IPhone X hold the value much much much better than Samsung S8 + when it comes to resell your phone :)

    • Sorry, I didn’t see you mean IPhone 8+ :)

      • I meant the Samsung S8+
Just as good as the iPhones and s9 but a fraction of the price

          Confirmation bias?

  • don't iphone get price cut of 10% when new once release?
will i get a GST invoice to claim from TRS?

  • Pixel 2 xl for $890 also

  • Am I right in assuming the note 8 is 25% off also? Bringing it down to roughly $861. Can OP confirm if they are aussie stock, the listing makes me believe they are. It would seem like a great price if so and worthy of it's own post. Just wanting to confirm not dual sim and full 2 year Aussie warranty - ready to pull the trigger.

    TIA

    • +1

Yes, we only selling Aussie stock with 2 years samsung au warranty

iphone x 64 gb out of stock

    Hi,

Does anyone know or can confirm that this iphone x uses the original oled screen and not some aftermarket screen with poor display? I already got burnt last time buying an iphone 7 256gb from some other ebay store for 700$. Lucky enough i had ebay plus and returned it and got the refund.

    • Hi,

These phones are brand new with original manufacturer seal.

    • What was wrong with the iphone 7 screen?

All may source hardware from multiple hardware vendors. For iphone X, it has been reported that all OLED screen are sourced from Samsung. There are reports that they are working with LG, but maybe for the future phones.

      • The iphone 7 i bought came with an aftermarket screen, which means they don’t actually use the original lcd screens but ones with horrible colors. It was very obvious as i could put my 5s side to side with the 7 and could tell the difference. There’s a market for these displays as they are significantly cheaper than the original ones. The iphone 7 i bought even came with a sealed box, which already tells you how far retailers are willing to go to sell their product and mark them as “sealed, unused, brand new” crap. I know this because i have worked in the mobile phone industry for quite some time. I even asked my employer of these types of phones and he can confirm these types of counterfeit phones exists and is even more rampant in China.

        • i was not aware that such market exist but definitely possible. However when this happens, you would also need to be concern about the warranty as any parts not genuine used on your phone will immediately void your warranty and apple will not service them.

Allphones seems to be reputable enough to not be pulling this. However i have not purchased from them so i am not vouching.

    • Why am i getting downvoted for asking a genuine question?

      • +1

people love to downvote here. just miserable people hiding behind anonymity

Was a genuine question, don't worry about them

    Hi Rep,

Anymore stock on the iphone X 64gb?

    Thanks

  • So if I have an issue with the iPhone x I can walk into an Apple store and they'll deal with?

    • That is my experience. Have in the past 7-8 years had many iphones (many bought pre-owned) brought in store for repair. Quite a few times they replaced the phone that was brought in for free if there was any issue (battery etc) provided it is not abused or classified as damage, and that the phone is within 2 years of activation.

You can check the activation date of each phone with the serial number, and you will have 2 years coverage with apple from thereon.

  • +1

Allphones are an authorised reseller as per Apples Website. Just checked. Thanks.

    • Pretty sure Allphones has been for ages - think they are owned by Mobileciti now.

  • Damn missed the iPhone x 64gb :(

  • Noooo… all sold out for the iPhone X :(

For anyone who has purchased the Galaxy S9 (or potentially the other phones) you can submit an eBay price beat guarantee for an extra saving!! I received a $150 voucher - 2 different eBay reps said this is the voucher limit. Voucher has 90 day expiry.

I price beat Kogan (approved comparison site) which is priced much better than a $150 difference. EBay consider the listed original price ($1197) for the beat guarantee.

I also used eBay gift cards purchased via woolies at 5% off to reduce the effective price to $852.86 (897.75*0.95), plus cash rewards and qantas store points, then the additional $150 eBay voucher puts the net price at about $690 for a brand new Samsung Galaxy S9, local stock! I'm stoked!!

Makes these discount codes even more enticing with the extra price beat voucher!

    • You are the ducks nuts!

    • Just tried it, it was rejected because they used the final price paid after the voucher was used ($999.75 for the S9+ vs $1049/1099 on Kogan).

      • Same. I think this guy just got lucky.

        • There's a number of people who got it. Check out the price beat page linked above.
Here, here, here etc… maybe submit again to see if a different rep approves it?

I just had a look at their Ts & Cs and looks like they've changed the wording as it now says final/actual price after coupons etc. I don't think it previously had this, especially given the previous comments on the deal page.

No harm in submitting again and trying your luck.
