  Correct me if I'm wrong, ECC UDIMM can be used in non-ECC motherboard. As I'd a non-ECC motherboard that can take ECC unbuffered DIMM w/o issue, other than no ECC function.

  <edit> I suppose I could make use of the Free Returns policy on EBay Plus, just the delivery time frame for the pc is getting awful close to the 30 day limit so I possibly would not have time to install and test before return period expires. </edit>
