Nice case, the grey one would really blend into a living room.

Exactly. The world needs more cases that look like something an adult would have rather than something designed by a teenager with flashing RGB and dragons and shit.

        mega super awesome-o power 2000

      • I like my flashing dragon build. This looks so neat though just looks like an air purifier. Very adult

      • whoa whoaaaaa but….. DRAGONS!

Ugh bought this last month for $199 + $36 delivery from PLE.

Great case for an ITX build, careful of the gpu length and it’s only 2.5 slots - fit my 2 fan Sapphire 6700xt.
Adding a 240 AIO (Thermalright deal) made it a very tight fit.

No issues with heat - gpu and cpu around 50° under normal load.

    Here’s a build I referenced - https://pcper.com/2024/06/fractal-mood-vertical-mini-itx-pc-…

    • careful of the gpu length and it’s only 2.5 slots

That's very limiting if wanting 4k gaming.

      • There's a few options in the 5070ti space that fit, and a couple of powercolor 9070XT's that would (like the reaper).

There's even a 5080 that fits, although I'm not sure I'd go with gigabyte right now

          There's even a 5080 that fits

How did I overlook that? I've got one of those. It's a beast too. However, it's not vertically mounted.

      • Not really, a 5090 FE is a two-slot 😆

        • It's also a unicorn

Listed at 2.75 slot (or 56mm) clearance on the website.

    Looks like a Temu XSX.

    • +2

If you watch some reviews on it you will realise the XSX is the temu version of this

Any deals on a case dor a nas, like node 304 or anything similar in a small form factor

    • Can't really think of anyone doing NAS style cases apart from Jonsbo now. PLE seems to be the only retailer for them and with their deals now, might get lucky with a deal.

    • Sagittarius 8-bay from aliexpress

      Plenty of builds on youtube

      Or jonsbo n3 for smaller

    • Been waiting for this to come back in stock at PLE for a while now, hopefully back in stock in a few more days

  • I want to see SFF HTPC Cases.

      Fractal Ridge.

Bought this a few weeks ago at the same price from PLE. The biggest down side, the front usb ports are flipped. For example, plug in a logitech receiver and the logo is upside down. First world problems.

On a serious note, the 2.5" hdd bay would not clip in. Checked a video on youtube and I was doing it exactly the same. After bending the chassis from trying to get it in, I ended up bending the two teeth on thy bay for it to clip in.

Sexy unit overall. Looks real nice if you use rgb fans.

    Excuse the horrible photo.

      Horrible photo indeed, sir!
      I tip my hat!

    • +1

Take it apart and put it back together so the logo goes the right way around.

      • Haha.

        • I hear laughing but I dont hear you disagreeing!

    • Just confirming that the motherboard back panel face downwards and cables for monitors, power, USB devices, ethernet etc enter from the bottom rear of case? Do cables need to bend tightly? Is it a PITA to plug/unplug things?

      • +1

Correct, inputs are from under the case. Definitely a PITA to plug/unplug any cables. The best way is to place a cloth, cardboard etc at the front of the car and lay it down face down. Though if you have a hole in your desk for cable management, it's such a clean setup. Cables need to bend slightly, but not an issue for most cables. Have a pretty solid hdmi cable, so that has a bit of a bend.

  • Interesting, not sure I'm a fan though… Prefer a Jonsbo Tk-0, unless you require a full length GPU

    • +10

if you're a fan then you belong IN the case

      • +1

No, that would require TWO fans.

  • Thanks OP, ordered one, can’t wait to receive it.

Decent looking case, but worth understanding the performance implications, e.g. see: https://gamersnexus.net/cases/fractal-fumbles-mood-case-revi…, or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnhNhwKibBY

Basically, it's not great. It'll be fine for mid-range components, but anything approaching the wattage of modern high-end components will be starved of airflow.

    • Agreed. I bought it for a mid range build. No gaming. If I was to ever build another pc, I'd go a full size.

  • +1

Reminds me of the Xbox series X

    • well, I don't think it's an accident :)

  • Anyone know if there is a way to get 2x2.3" drives in there? Specs say 2 only but wondering if there is a non official way.

  • +1

Light grey case really nice perfect match when i put it in my living room.
